  1. I think CB should get a lotta props for being so generous with this promotion. I tried CB out because of the promotion and found their jump line to be the best in PA last year and decided make my future season pass purchases to be at CB.

On the other hand, PASRs that talk shit and have a shitty attitude about taking advantage of CB after THEIR HOME MOUNTAIN CLOSES EARLIER THAN EVEYONE ELSE are an embarrassment.

  2. Thanks Justo.

Whatsup with the 1st jump? I assume with the slower snow most boarders choose to hit #2 only -or- hit #1, skip #2, and then barely clear #3?

I prefer to spend my time lapping the 3 jumps at the top of sidewinder with a few boxes for variety.Based on that, do you think it's worth heading up?

  3. Damn can Blue build a park on a straight run..all I want is like 15 booters from 25-90 feet...and park passes...and some sort of Yurt where I can chill on leather couches and play X-box with my bro-hahs..

The funny thing is that your cheap attempt at humor is actually a great idea.

How many would make Blue their home mountain if they did the above? If they maintained it, I would.

  4. Hey Method............Ur Face!

Make some snow already and stop being so cheap!

    Sorry, can't help ya there.laugh.gif

Give the real Barb Green a call.

While you have her on the phone, tell her to move the terrain park to a straight run and enforce a park pass system

  5. I'm just gonna go once when Blue closes...maybe I can sell the camelcard!!!!!

The alien pass is supposed to entice pass holders from others mountains to CONSIDER trasfering to CB for the following season.

  6. Aren't the first couple days on a snowboard pretty painful??? Get me a beef and cheddar and curly frys :-)

F@cking nightmare. Soooo frustrating. icon_smile_banghead.gif Now when I teach people, I make sure they have wristguards and a helmet. I even bought used ice hockey equipment and kept it at our ski house for teaching people.

When my ex girlfriend wanted to learn last year, I got her wristguards and a lesson. She broke her arm because she refused to wear the wristguards. I should have broken up with her the next day.icon_smile_banghead.gif

  7. i'm not saying blue would provide more ski time because its a little closer. i was saying that cause it seems like there's more of a scene there/people to ride with, which in my opinion makes things a lot more fun. i can go hike a rail by myself for a while, but if i'm taking runs, its way more fun to ride with a group, and there's always someone from this site at blue to ride with.

Sooo true. Sno wasn't the best park I rode this year, but I had the most fun all season because of the group I was riding with.

  8. I would LOVE a tow rope or carpet to be able to session a jump line. I was jealous you got snowmobile taxi rides during that recent photo shoot. laugh.gif

What do you think about what Barb said to me the other day? It makes me nervous about getting a 10/11 pass to Blue. But, I hope everything you posted happens.

  9. Just average height and stocky. nana.gif

Skinny guys always wanna bring up height.rolleyes.gif Need I remind some of ya of Mike Tyson or BJ Penn.biggrin.gif Shit, Shaun White looked like a ballerina when met him last year.

I recall some size comments on this site from others with different body types as well.blink.gif

  10. If some idiot t-boned me I'd get a new car on their insurance. Any skier/rider who is legit ferns for powder which means drivingin snow.

True. But, what if people get hurt? And, it's never as easy as just "getting a new car". It's a huge hassle.

I agree about being worthdriving in the snow for fresh powder. That's why I bought my new AWD ride. But, getting to the MT before the worst of the storm, and leaving after the roads are in good shape, is always a good idea.

For me, Philly to the Poconos and back while it's still dumping 12" wasn't worth the risk. It sucks. Believe me.qq.gif

  11. Generally, my fear is having a some tool slide into me. I think I've got oversteer/understeer/traction under control by now. I've been driving rear wheel drive V8's with manual transmissions as my only transport (skiing too) for years. So, I've always had to run 2 sets of wheels/tires.

With that said, I LOVE having a AWD for the daily beater now. Embarrassingly, since manual is not a factory option, I'm kinda gettin used to not having a clutch pedal too. But, don't tell anyone. laugh.gif My next daily driver with be a manual with a computer cotrolled dual clutch. (DSG/PDK/DCT)
