  1. god damnit, you have no idea how pissed i am that my parents aren't letting me go...I want to go so fucking bad....my parents say it's an unnecessary risk to drive up there, especially on the way back.

A much fun as PA fresh is, how would you feel if some idiot T-boned you on the way home? Not siding with your parents, just trying to make you feel better and to point out they have a point. I have AWD and almost ate shit a few times coming back from the 21" dump at Blue the other day. I kept thinking getting t-boned is not worth a powder day. Sure, if you can get there when there is little snow on the ground and ride out th storm at the mountain until the state gets the roads plowed, it's worth it. But, if you gotta drive up or back in the middle of the highest accumulations, maybe it's best just to be safe than sorry.

    Just sayin.

I'm crossing my fingers to get out a bit early but not banking on it. I have to come up all the way through Philly too... Not looking good.

I know you got places to stay near Blue, but a few of us are headed up from Philly tomorrow and getting rooms if anyone wants to meet up. Plans are up in the air, but will probably be a combo of Blue, CB, and ESU bars.

  2. Nope. It's an annual event Coors throws at Sno.

First rule of Coors ski trip, you don't talk about Coors ski trip.

Damn, I gotta stop breaking Rule #1.

doug can post where he wants,

EVERY other forum on the net I know enforces the following: you don't post in threads unless you stay on topic and have something positive to add. If there is drama, it needs to be kept in private messages. PASR members should follow that basic netiquette on their own. If not, the mods should enforce it like every other forum on the web. I'm bad with responding to public shit. I will try to be better because I believe it's the right thing to do. But, if people follow basic netiquette, and the mods moderate, there will be no public shit for me to respond to.

  3. Your large print makes me want to punch somebody in the face.

Sorry. That wasn't my intention. If it's warranted, maybe you should punch someone in the face. There's a first time for everything, right? When it's required, it makes me feel pretty good.

  4. No I will antagonize the fuck out of you and give you five negative ratings everyday...go post on newschoolers. You're not wanted here.

I'm sorry you feel that way, Doug. The reason I've never blocked you is that you do post a lot of usefull information around here about conditions, vermont, etc. I would like to continue to read your posts about those things. But, if we can't agree to leave each other alone and post positively, I'm gonna have to block your posts.

    C'mon Doug. Let's play nice.

  5. Quit calling me Douglas....Jeff is an idiot for letting you back. If he did let you back to piss me off it is working....PASR was so nice without you. If you become a regular poster on here I will likely stop posting...

OK Doug. It will be fine. You do your thing, I'll do my thing. You're still the King of PASR. I don't want your crown.

Do you agree that if I leave you alone, you will follow standard internet forum netiquette and stay out of park discussions and trip/event planning threads that have nothing to do with you ?

  6. Complaining about negative ratings earns negative ratings. Unfortunately I uses my quota up but I will get five more negative ratings to give out soon. I don't think you changed, I can't believe Jeff let you back.

I know people with personal problems are going to negatively rate anything I post. Unlike some people, my life doesn't revolve around PASR . I just pointed out my harmless post being negatively rated because the haterade is obvious.... and funny. You use those menigless 5 negative ratings how ever you like Douglas. :)

My honest assessment is that they reactivated my screen name just to piss you off.

If you do the same, I will leave you alone and stay out of discussions that have nothing to do with me.

Forum netiquette is that you only post in threads where you have personal interest or something positive to offer. In other words, I won't post in your "video blog" threads and you don't post in park discussions and when I try to organize and plan on here. Fair enough?

Have a great day, Douglas. Enjoy the powder that is on it's way.:wiggle

  7. Nah. We rode the whole time and then ran in for a "power hour" to prepare for the bus ride home.laugh.gif

I love how the harmless post above get's a negative rating by someone with a personal problem. Same old haterade around here I guess. I'll take mine in the Mango flavor. Thanks.

I attented this last year, it was a blast.

Partying last year was a good time, but the conditions were SO icy. I didn't hit one feature in the parks because of the ice and ended up being a snowboard instructor for the day. Learning to ride on ice sucks. Those kids had heart.

  8. alright. are you hitting rails and boxes yet? i remember you saying a while ago that you didnt.

I hit them. I'm just not really into them. When riding park Early & Late season, you don't really have a choice but to hit the jibs because the jumps are shit. A lot of times I'll just do boxes/A-frames because everyone I'm riding with wants to hit the jib parks.

I love jumps, so I'm OK if I get hurt doing something I love. But considering I don't love jibbing, I'm a little hesitant about getting hurt on them.

The other thing is growing skateboarding in the city, we were always grinding and boardsliding shit or riding ramps. So, I'm not really into riding pipe/rails. You can't go FAST and hit huge booters skating in the city. So, that's what I like to do when I snowboard.

  9. TT when was the last time that you hit them? they cut them down a bit and reshaped them at the end of last week to make the landings steeper. before then they were still very clearable, but now, they are smaller and even easier to clear. the only issue is that you need to adjust for that, or else you will overshoot them.

2 weeks ago. I injured my collar bone last night when I got inverted. But, I might be down to ride Blue again this week. If you guys post up a park session roll call, I will try to make it. I'm still pissed about missing the Burton event, but whatever man. I just want to ride.

  10. and ttc6, yes, some of us can spin all 3 jumps in the jumpline. that doesn't mean we're always going to, because as ashy said, the first isnt really worth it.

That's cool. If you say it, I believe it. I have no problem deferring to people with more knowledge or ability than me. But, I can't clear all 3 in a row and no one I've talked to or ridden with have spun all 3 in a row. In my opinion, Rhodo's jump line was legit last year. If you didn't ride it, it's a shame. CB did a good job.

  11. Actually TTMethod is a fan of the Jersey Shore..wearing cargo shorts and drinking with multiple generations is how he rolls..

TTCbitch sounds like you got a bathroom Blumpkin by a dude..

    Hello Douglas.

I've been told that we're supposed to ignore personal attacks and moderators are going to begin enforcing standard internet forum policies like no personal attacks in public, no off topic posting, and no trolling/spamming.

So, I'll ignore your above post as requested and we'll see what action the mods take.

In the future, feel free to PM me with any issue you may have with me or if you feel the need to verbally abuse me. In the meatime, have a great day. smile.gif

  12. LOL, get your story straight before you go putting others down.

Who put anyone down? :confused As far as Doug, I just stated the obvious in repsonse to his post.

Story Straight? I can neither confirm or deny the identity of said crusher(s).:D

  13. damn dude, that sounds like a killer day haha

by the way, gettin any girl that represents some kind of drink is no tan accomplishment. thats pretty much there job. exhibit A: the red bull girls hahaha

True. Not much of a challenge. :yes But, a hell of a lot of fun.

I just had sooo much fun last night. If it wasn't the best park session I ever had, it was definitely the best night session... ever. Having people to session with that are much better than you, and are helping and pushing you to progress, and after trying to learn something for a while then the moment comes that you just "get it".... it was just a great fucking night.

Heading inside to party aftewards and getting smashed then hooking up.... that's just a bonus. :)

Wow..you and I could have crushed a Coors light chick,,high five for stoke!!!

You couldn't crush a coors light can, let alone a coors light chick. For someone who is so pathetic, I can't figure out why you put yourself out there all the time like that. Good luck GSS. There is someone out there for everyone, even you.

  14. they pick 1 or two because theres no point to hit all 3 unless youre in a comp where you have to. toast skis well, he knows what hes doing.

    usually it goes 1, 2, spin 3.

number one sucks. two is a legit setup for 3 and 3 is the jump everyone spins/hits that knows what theyre doing. really - if you rode park and could do all the things you complain other people cant, youd know this

No one is doubting Toast. Especially not me. I'm able to separate personal shit when trying to share information. At CB last year, you could spin off of all 4 jumps if you wanted to. I wish Blue had a jump line that was laid out so you could do the same. I agree that it's common for people to use a jump as a setup to the next and just do a simple grab or a 1. But, I still prefer a layout where you can throw stuff off of every jump in a row. Having a layout that can offer that option is a good thing, right?

For the record, I never claim to be great. I just want to have fun with my friends and progress. That's it.

  15. I thought you only did straight airs?

You've been misinformed. Can you act like an adult now and go post something positive elsewhere instead of ruining this thread with negative shit? Thank you.

  16. i didn't really have any problems with them this weekend sobey. after my first run through and i got the distances figured out i was fine.

Unlike other people on here, even if something isn't what I want to hear, even if I don't like the person posting it, I'm willing to believe what you post.

Are you saying you're clearing all 3 to the sweet spot, in a row? If so, are you able to throw anything while hitting all 3 in a row?

All of the people I know are picking 1 or 2 jumps to hit in one run.

  17. killing it the park... check

    sessioning with friends.... check

free booze, food, and tix... check

    shotgunning beers like champions... check

    crushing coors light girls.... check

So, what did you two do last night? :D

Oh, and I had 2 dozen tickets to give away and could have gotten anyone in that showed up.

It's no mystery why I didn't give them away on here.

  18. i can't assume that rice isnt trying without knowing the facts. he could just be getting shut down. who knows. i really dont have any complaints with the park this year anyway. its been decent almost all year.

I'm not going to get into it here because it's simply not worth it. But, just as an example of only one issue: EVERYONE I rode with at Blue, or talked to this year, told me that they can't spin all 3 jumps. Frankly, how many can hit the sweet spot on all three jumps, in a row, in the same run?
