  1. thank you travis i dont want to undermine anyone here, but on friday, it took 5 cruers 4 hours to cut up one set of jumps. and as it turned out, the set they cut was the worst of the line, the lips were so steep there was no way to make the landing, you went straight up, and it was like hitting a wall if you went to fast.
  2. ok, here it is... first of all, i really like bear creek, i just cant figure out how to change my profile. i've been to BC many more times than blue this year.... Everyday this year, i have been pretty satisfied with the condition of the park, that's why i like to go to bear creek, but today, the park was not in good order. This was my only day off of school this month, and i wanted to practice in an uncrowded environment. But on my first run through the park, 80% of the rails were covered, and none of the jumps were groomed. I was upset, so i talked to a couple employees romping around on snowmobiles, and they all said that the park crue got lazy last night, after blowing 10 inches of snow, and they didnt even bother grooming it. Now i understand that grooming can get difficult with 10 inches, but i think they are doing their customers an injustice by not having the main feature of the mountain in good condition. But before i even talked to the snowmobilers, i talked to the park crue, and they said that they blew "ten feet" of snow. then they said that they couldnt groom it because the cats were slipping around. I kind of buy the slipping part, but, i think they could have been grooming it this morning because the snow was pretty tight, or, maybe they could have groomed it as the snow piled up last night. The park crue promised my group that they would groom everything by hand and have everything nice by 1-2pm. BUT, 5 of them worked on one jump from 9:30-12:30. ok. then, they moved onto that rail at the way bottom, and spent the next 3 hours working on that. Every time i took the lift up, if i was lucky, i caught one of them moving their shovel, the rest were stand around chatting. Now, in my opinion, they probably could work a little more efficiently. The snowmobilers totally agreed with me. Now i dont want to offend any cruers, but, today, the people "working" were not really doing much, except this one guy, who tieded up 3-4 jumps by himself, which took a little while, because he was only one person, but in reality, he was really the only one doing anything. I talked with him, and he also agreed that the others were from new york, and were lazy. it was these new yorkers who i was referring to when i said that i hate the park crue. Like i said before, i like bear creek better than blue, but today, i was disappointed. sympathize thank you i will be here all night. p.s. i do like jumps more than i like rails, but ya gotta practice everything
  3. yeah, my favorite rails were covered in 2 feet of ice...bitch good job park crue, i hate you
  4. yo guys, Im new to freestyle skiing this year, but i've been working on getting comfortable in the air and on rails. I'm learning pretty quickly but i'm really anxious to pull a 360, and i think im ready. what do you think is my best bet- just go for it, hang with some people who know what they are doing, or get lessons somewhere? Thanks
