not gonna lie the park setup was pretty weak today

il be heading up for the first time this season ... blue pants/green hoodie/ gold ride kink

I doubt theyll open a hike park. Most the people that would ride it would be season pass holders I assume so they it wouldnt profit them to much.

im not saying the new regular quad is a bad idea but a new high speed quad .... but they probably didnt even need it because they opened the double lift on weekends and even then there wasnt much of a line.... besides they should invest in that plastic fiber material for snowboarding in the summer i cant remember what its called but i heard they tried to get it before

if they put the quad that has half as many chairs but runs twice as fast there are gonna but should lift rides but longer waits in the lines meaning that your gonna have the same amount of runs... i think someone said something like that before.... this is assuming that it will be twice as fast with half as many chairs... however im thinking alot more new people are gonna mess up on a highspeed because a lot do already on regular so bear prob shouldnt put in one when they can spend it elsewhere...

Does anyone else think that putting another quad lift in is pointless? The double lift is never on in the first place and they could instead make the quad they have now a highspeed one and it would have the same affect except shorter time on the ski lift which is a plus.

I don't know I remember Bear opening really early like 4 years ago around this time. I think it was December 8th and the whole mountain was open or close to it.

this could be a wild guess but the air up there liek 1000s of feet up is alot colder and so the snow forms there and comes down here and here the air here isnt as cold which in turn the pond isnt as cold plus its much bigger and thus much longer to become cold so basically the H2O here isnt as cold as the H2O up there ... but im really jsut guessing here

i rather them open friday so they can get a good day of blowing and grooming on thursday

ya some urban downrails and some downs or flat downs off of big jumps like they had idk 2 or 3 years ago would be nice

a variety of gaps for the rails would be nicelast year most the rails last year had no gaps except a few so bigger gaps this year would be welcomed

i agree with high rails and that the subaru was sorta stupid but even with high rails your gonna have kids go up the ramp and jump off the side of it screwin up the jump

ya id like to see a decent pipe at bear maybe just not make it as long and groom it because theres no point in hvaing a long halfpipe if it sucks ... thats the only thing they really need to work on the rest of their park is usually awsome

i don't know if somebody already mentioned this but why doesn't bc put up a toe bar in the terrain parks like the ones they used to have at the tubing area before the magic carpet lift that would decrease the huge lines at the quad when it gets busy and you could just stay at one section of the mountain i would think bc would have thought of that already so im sure theres some big flaw to that
