  1. Hm, everyone says that Camelback is not going to make anymore snow but is there official word that they are? When I made the thread about 3 weeks ago about the snow storm, someone mentioned Camelback stopped making snow but the guns were still running.
  2. accuweather.com says Tannersville is getting a total of 5.8 inches until Saturday morning. See for yourself.. http://www.accuweather.com/forecast.asp?pa...72&metric=0 If Camelback gets that amount of snow tomorrow, it's going to be a miracle since I haven't seen 6 inches of snow fall at all this year. We're buckling down to the last few weeks of winter, it's definitely a nice sight to see snow fall heading our way. Either way, any snow storm would be considered big in my book with the warming of the globe that's been going on.
  3. You guys are right, I checked Camelback's website just now and they said they've been blowing snow since Monday. I'm glad they are really pulling through with continuous snow making and I'm really pumped to go this weekend with the big snow storm coming our way. Enjoy the snow everyone and be safe this weekend.
  4. Oh, I did not know that. Well, that's dumb that they don't. I went there Saturday morning and the conditions were great, until by 4:30 when I left, all the snow was pushed around and the bare ice was exposed and this was on a majority of the trails.
  5. Hey guys, I've been monitoring the weather and Camelback's website and my question is why hasn't there been any snow making? Looking 5 days ahead, the highest temperature is going to be 37 degrees on Sunday in Tannersville PA. In the evening, tonight is going to be the coldest at 8 degrees and with the horrible rain we got on Monday, I'm sure Camelback is crying for some snow making. March is just right around the corner and I think this might be the opportune moment to make some snow to be opened as long as possible. Also, accuweather.com says we're getting some snow Friday approximately 1-3 inches of snow.
  6. Hey all, So from my knowledge and riding at Camelback for 4 years, I've always seen step-in bindings with the rentals at the rental shop. Even snowboarding there a week and half ago, I remember seeing step-in's that people rented. My question is, do they now have strap bindings on their snowboards when you rent at Camelback? (I checked their website, and it seems like they have new gear) If they do have new gear, do they just rent boots out? cause I'm in a debate with someone who bought a snowboard, bought bindings but didn't buy boots and wants to rent. Thanks guys. ~NorthFace
