  2. Don't base your decision about what mountain to buy a season pass...based on conditions this week

    or this weekend.

do you honestly think i am going to base my decision on what the conditions will be like THIS WEEK!!?!??

obviously not. i dont know what the terrain is like, how the lifts are, and the general jive of the mountain. i just want to get out late in the season. i rode at BB multiple times this season, along with other places such as camelback, Sno, and blue.

i know what ski conditions in pa are like.

i am not going to get there and be like "wow this snow must always be this shitty because i am sure that the temperature up in the poconos is ALWAYS in the high fifties and it is so OBVIOUS that this snow is never groomed, fresh, or fast."

    :P :P

  3. DUDDDDDDDDDE!!!!!!! i was there the same day! i was going to make a post the night before i went up but was like "nahhhhh, no pasr's are probably headin up to placid this weekend." HAHA! great pics. i was there friday and saturday then went to elk on the way home sunday. it was sick when it cleared up on saturday and that one diamond next to the summit lift became VISIBLE. i think i was one of the first people down that run that day...

    Lookout Below looks sweet...

it got prettttty hairy. i never rode that cuz i was boardin' that day and it was pretty narrow but lower down from the lift you could see it got pretty exposed to rocks, ice, and mud.

  4. yea it is hot wax. going to do that cleaning method with scraping off the warm wax first though. i am assuming that i will not need to wax other than scrape my board before next season? i know im a noob, its my first year waxing.

o and how often should i wax my board? i have been doing it every 3-4 times i ride.

  5. i was there this past sunday (3-8) and there was hardly anyone there! good conditions with some slush at the top. for the most part the diamonds stayed packed and later in the the day it turned to lighter mashed pataters

  6. unfortunately, my 2009 season is almost over :(. i understand that you are supposed to wax your board before the summer so the base doesnt dry out. do i just wax my board normally or should i use some sort of special method?

  7. Where will be the best place to go for freeriding this weekend?

Jack Frost, Camelback, or Blue Mt.

These are the principles i want to base my decision off of:

    -Snow Conditions/quality

    -Crowds

-and how many runs are open

I am going with my dad and he prefers blue squares to black diamonds and likes long, cruizin' runs...

WHat do you guys think will be the best?

  8. dont be afraid to get creative and do very unusual shit cause im pretty sure that creativity will really get peoples attention

    thank you

it will get blue's park crew's attention, but not mine  ...

  9. jesus that would be so scary just ridin' along and all of a sudden WHAM! talk about your stomach dropping like on a roller coast.

    over 30 meters!!!! shit.

hopefully it doesnt happen with the peak-to-peak. that lift is like 1500 ft above the ground and it has only four towers!!!

maybe it will scare off tourists from the good stuff there...
