  1. Ya finding some people to go out there and know the area would be a plus. Hoping next year I can get together with some guys that know the area and charge the place with um. JH just doesn't seem like a place you should be charging alone. Plus there's added stoke when ya got friends to share it with.

  2. Ya you're right. I just saw that deal and said shit I gotta get out their! Haha. 3 days on the mountain doesn't seem like enough time especially for someone that knows jack shit about the place. By the time I left I'd finally be getting use to the place "maybe".

  3. Not sure where the flight leaves from. I know you can customize the packages. Will be calling them this week to see prices out of PHL. Excellent point about the extending it due to storms, delays, and getting use to the elevation out there. I guess maybe I should almost think logical, push it back to next year, throw more money into the trip so I can stay out their longer. Every time I see a jackson hole video I start looking into ski packages out there. Haha.

  4. Ya 96 and 93 were nuts. 96 was worse for this area but the 93 super storm costed in damage much more. It was almost a billion in damage at that time. Parts of the south saw 50+ inches. Your talking to the guy that always researches the worst storms in history as added stoke to hopefully one day be in one that was as bad as the 1977 one. Love watching videos on YouTube of the worst snow storms in history.

  5. Found an all inclusive trip to Jackson hole. 4 nights lodging, 3 day lift ticket, shuttle service, breakfast, and round trip flight. $799 outta NY. My guess another $100 tops to fly outta Philly. Who's interested haha??? Price is based on double occupancy I believe. Will be calling them sometime this week to find out more about the deal and flight out of Philly. Sounds like a deal I can't pass. Hoping I can get off work early feb.

  6. Ya he went off actually before it goes to mountain run. I quick popped down to check on him and said I'm going to get ski patrol. Thought he broke his leg as he ended up off the trail and in some trees. Caught it out of the corner of my eye and heard him. Felt bad. Looked like he was in a lot of pain. So icey just before mountain run later in the day. I was pushing so hard to get down I almost lost it when I threw the brakes on the board. Went from bouncy to a sheet of ice.

  7. It was pretty fun Glenn and ya your right that mountain can get really icey. Somebody flew off the side of mountain run the last day I was there. Think he broke his leg. I straight lined down the side of mountain run to the lodge near there and snagged ski patrol. When I came back they were in the woods where he went off. Don't know what came about. Figured I'd stay out since enough people were already involved.

  8. I'll see if I can find some better photos for you! I thought it was a pretty awesome mountain. If your going to go don't go on a weekend. The week days are great and the ppl don't start showing up till 10am so if you get there right at 830 youll have the mountain to yourself. After 130pm every body is gone. Wednesdays can get a little more ppl than the normal week day due to having this new thing where if you bring a can of coke you get a lift ticket for like 30-40 dollars off. Still not as crowded as the weekends. Best month I heard is late feb.

  9. If anybody hasn't checked the latest from accuweather aka "hype machine" they're forecasting a major snowstorm this week (tuesday-wednesday). Even though accuweather is so far off with their data I love reading about it and looking at forecasted snowfall maps to stay stoked! Usually let me down but o well! 50 miles could mean crippling to nothing. Crippling in certain parts of PA is starting to become 4-5 inches of snow. Schools are closing when there is 2 inches on the ground. I'm hoping for a paralyzing snow storm!

  10. Again sorry for no action shots! Rolled solo to the mountain almost every day except the first which was horrible and wasn't even worth taking pictures. Last weekend they lost half their trails due to 50 degree temps! Quickly got it back with a few lake effect storms that rolled through. Temps dropped and they just kept blowing snow 24 hrs a day a long with the lake effect machine cranking up!
