I work at BC and got the news that we will be starting next week and the course looks to be much longer this year. I am going to try and make it out to blue one of these thurs. nights. It would be nice to meet some new people. I race with twintips

We are starting the freestyle lessons tom night as mentioned above. I am one of the freestyle ski instructors and as far as group or private goes, private is easier to teach because it's 1 on 1 but sometimes being in a small group can help push yourself plus you can meet new people with the same interest.

I was just curious when Nastar will be starting at Bear Creek, Blue Mountain, Camelback etc..? I have only gone to BC but I would like to go to Blue and Camelback, how are their courses and when are they? Thanks

I am selling a pair of 175cm Volkl P60 GS Race skis...They are about 2-3 years old. I never got to ride them and the previous owner barely used them as the size was very big. They do have holes from one binding mount that were filled but they skis are in great condition. I work in a tune shop so a free tuneup will be done to your specs before sent out. I am asking what I paid for them $200.Thanks!

I picked up a set of Volkl GS Racing skis in the fall and I am looking to put bindings on them. It doesn't matter if it has a plate or not, just something reasonably priced. Thanks!

I am headed out to Lake Tahoe next week and it will be my first time skiing that area. We are staying at alpine meadows but may venture to a few other resorts. Anyone ever been out there and if so have any rec. as far as what trails you liked? (park and pipe included) Thanks!

It is because of the water temp, the ground has been so warm because of the unusual warm weather we have had. We are blowing as much as we can to open with the best conditions on the trails we are blowing on....

We got the tune shop up and running so if anyone needs anything tuned up come up and see me......also a co-worker of mine is selling a ari of rossignol scratches with bindings. PM if interested or stop in the shop to check them out. -Bob

http://www.skibearcreek.com/winter/winter_...ortwetbulb.aspx this is a great table that shows what temps and humidity levels are needed to blow snow.... if the temps hang in the upper 20's yes you can make snow but not nearly as much if the temps were in the low 20's high teens.

Have patience, this weather is not favorable for making snow to create a good base.... Bear Creek will be opening soon enough.
