There is no rhyme or reason to do a mid day groom on BC's park. As stbqskibum stated, it will be a lot more work for the park crew after the groomer goes through the park. I don't think you realize the amount of time it takes to set up and maintain a park. The park crew does a great job.

I actually tried on the Doberman Aggressor WC 130 this weekend and that fit better. That boot as well has the abducted stance as well but from what I understand Nordica's offset is measured from the heel. I will be picking the boots up when I got to Vermont this coming weekend.

I was a freestyle instructor last year and I will be doing it again this year. I agree with what T*Maki said. Make sure you feel comfortable with your all mountain skills first. The program is a great way to build confidence, learn proper park etiquette and most of all HAVE FUN!

Black bear park will be open with a few rails, but I think cascade will be open just as a normal trail for the time being.

What's funny is that myself, Dorsey, Humbleslc and Icedout would know when we are going to open before any of you.Most likely friday, saturday at the latest.

I don;t know, they want to make as much snow as possible because of the crappy forecast for next week. We may keep the snow in piles and push it out sun. night to open monday.

I think you need glasses and need to understand the terrain and the natural snow make it look like there is more than there is. Now maybe by tom. night they will be that big, but def. not right now.

i was just up at bear and they had an unbelieve amout of snow!! i'm 5ft7in n the piles were as high as me and very wide Riiiigggghhtttt.......

They don't have as much snow as you think. The fresh snow just makes it look like it's covered more...

Well after being on the phone with shop owners I have come to the decision to get a Fischer RC4 Race 120. When I was trying on boots, Fischer had the best fit but I was steered away from some people saying that I do not need the abducted stance. After talking to a lot of shop owner's they all had recommend fischer's boot for fitting my foot. The Atomic CS will be too wide for me unfortunately and the Ti model I want is hard to come by. So I decided the Fischer RC4 Race 120 will fit all of my needs. I am curious to see how the abducted stance works with my skiing.

$55/45 for full tune. 55 includes hot was, 45 is belt wax. $20/15 for quick tune. 20 includes hot wax, 15 is a belt wax. These are the prices before the discount. We mainly use machines but if you prefer to have your edges hand tuned, that is not a problem.

The shop isn't too busy right now so if you need your skis/boards tuned bring them in now to get them back in time for opening day.

My foot is really narrow that is why I needed the 95 last. I may end up with some boot heaters if it gets unbearable on the really cold days.
