3. booter (skiing) n. A large jump, usually in the backcountry. Let's go to Diamondhead this weekend and build a big booter over the road. Who ever seen a booter in the backcountry that isnt in the shape of a cheese wedge?

they are very general terms to my understanding words like jump and hit are very general, they can mean pretty much anything that u can get air off of. to my knowledge booter, and kicker are more specific terms. I always thought a booter was a jumped shaped like a cheese wedge to give u more distance and less height and a kicker(also known as a tabletop) is a jump shaped more like a quarterpipe to give u more a kick up then out. And a jump can also mean a hip or a channel gap. Its not a very specific term. and hit could also mean a rail or quarterpipe. These terms can be used but in order to get the full meaning of words i beleive terms like booter should be used to give a better description of a park. I know if someone said to me, "my mountain has jumps" id be less appealed to go than if someone said "my mountain has booters". if u wanna disagree with me go ahead but thats how i feel on the issue.

since merry widow is now a terrain park, i wanna see a HUGE booter with that huge downslope being the landing. ive wanted that forever now get it done. thanks

I dont think bb will ever bypass blues jump size, but im sure they will MAjorly bypass blue in park quality. U hit a 70ft jump at boulder and ur at the end of ur run. Till u get enough speed for it and jump the distance itd be a waste. boulder new rails are gonna be killer, totally better than anything blue could produce. Look at blues staircase last season. They got it out madd early and everyone thought it was the greatest, till they seen what boulder had in store... And il be the first one to clean there new 100ft rail this year. this season is gonna be sick. BB REPRESENT.

One issue i wanna address. Since you took away food discounts for season pass holders, do employees still get discounts on food or not? Im a ski instructor and i know theres alot of changes for the season pass holder, but how does that effect staff passes?

to my knowledge, the edilweiss trail will be the new park and the triple lift was only slow because it was a beginer slope, the lift will be sped up for the park. This will be an awesome trail for a jib park because of how long and wide it is. I dont know what theyre doing with the bottom tho. At the bottom there is a magic carpet which will probably still be used for ski school, but itd be cool if they set up a rail there people could ses with the carpet.

I know justin had a pair and they delammed real bad. I dont care the the invaders at all. If u ask me the butter zone is on ALOT better skis than the invaders. the thall pros have the butter zone and so do the fujis. Ive ridden both thalls and fujis and i like them about equally. Ive never gotten to ride invaders like i would have liked to. But if ur looking for a ski with the butter zone i think u should pick one of those skis.

BB has been in the park scene since the begining of this winter. Noone came to check it out till the may day rail jam. Boulders parks been top notch all year since they put in the booters on the boulder trail. Next year boulder has plans for a 100ft rail!! should be fun

i was rocking out in the practice but bombed the comp, i think i got last in the comp. I landed a few switch 270s on the last rail. all around good day. Madd fun. i got am armada hoodie from the raffle

the last few comps at boulder they werent. But they might be, not posative tho

in my opinion i dont think anyone is gonna throw more than a switch 270 or 450 on since its only the 40ft urban assualt rail. but i know its gonna be a challenge for everyone to win.

Boulders staircase will be set up for the comp and MAYBE a box. Dunno about the box but thats a plan. Boulder will definately have snow for may rail jam. Boulder had a 7 ft base in certain spots on the boulder trail last day. 7 ft of snow takes forever to melt.
