  1. what are conditions like up there right now. I was planning on heading up friday morning but i dont know if its even worth it anymore.
  2. who's goin up tomorrow? i'll be there at night, brown pants gray jacket green academy board. prolly be by myself so if you see me the names matt. What were conditions like tonight anyway?
  3. will cascade and black bear if its open have features or is it still just the hike park and tubing section for this weekend, regardless i'm stoked about being able to ride a real lift
  4. any idea for what will be open this weekend? i know the weather isn't supposed to be ideal for snowmaking but i'm keeping my fingers crossed
  5. is there any possibility of a mid week opening. I know it doesnt sound very economical but if you have the snow, y not?
  6. i wasnt too excited about the new fdf till i realized how mellow it is. I didnt make it up tonight to ride cause my foots kinda not cooperating but i saw the webcam. I'm so stoked for the season starting but pretty bummed i'm stuck at home just posting while everyone else is riding.
  7. yeah idk why they would make the mistake of putting up the step down/step up box out for a rail jam, it limits you a lot as to what you can do on it. I would like to see the widest box they have so we can get back into the groove of things for a beginning of the year jam
  8. this is impressive, bear is keeping up with boulder and progressing every year. too bad my foot is too swollen to even fit in my boots
  9. i would think they would go full blast on the snowmaking if they have the weather to do it, so hopefully they can open a lift by the weekend or early next week. And for the jam i would like to see something stallable or a small wall like boulders red bull thing for the bottom of the run. who knows maybe enough snow for a small kicker
  10. yeah i would think they could at least have a good hike park together by that time if this weather forecast holds
  11. BC ironworks is having their first railjam next friday. Straight off the website 6pm: Park staff Forum-Come out and voice your opinions and comments about our Terrain Parks. We wabt to hear from you! Location: The Lodge 7pm: Movie Premier featuring: Reasons by: Poor Boyz and August by: Air Blaster Location: Outdoors during the Rail Jam (Weather Permitting) OR in the Lodge 7pm: Rail Jam- Our first rail jam of the year will take place (weather permitting)on November21. 12. i know which rails oakley is talking about. No one ever hit those things and they had huge freaking humps in em. They should just send em up to blue to add to their pile of circus rails. i def. agree a little raindbow would be fun, they're more fun when they're wider but anything would work i guess
  13. i'm in the same situation as you jibhonk, i want snow but i just hurt my foot and i may be out for an early season opening.
  14. I'm heading up to okemo this weekend too, i'll be there all friday and saturday. Keep me posted on how badly there getting dumped on, I've been looking forward to this trip for so long and it better not be ice, i've had enough of htat in PA. also dont knwo if you'll be in the park at all but post how the park conditions are if you get over there
  15. i agree with oakley, its time for the jump to be put back into the halfpipe. It should be like inbetween the cascade jumps and the tubing park jump in size.
