This event is free to any skier or rider (12 years old or older) that has a valid lift ticket or season pass. Registration will be held at the ski school desk from 10am-12pm and the Derby will begin at 1pm on the Sunbowl. Subaru "Master the Mountain" Saturday & Sunday - Complimentary ski and snowboard tips, mini-lessons and the opportunity to view the entire lineup of 2008 Subaru vehicles. There will be Prizes and giveaways at the Subaru tent throughout the day. Slide Ink Rail Jam Sunday - Open jam format competition in the Rhodo Terrain Park at 11am. Registration at the ski school desk from 8:30am-10am with practice beginning at 10:30. Registration fee is $35 (includes a lift ticket, $10 fee for passholders). Apres Ski (Main Lounge) Saturday - Liquid Sunshine 4pm-8pm Sunday - Joe O'Malley 2pm-6pm BEACH PARTY WEEKEND March 8 - 9 Mountain Dew Vertical Challenge Saturday - Free event for skiers and riders of all ages with a valid lift ticket or season pass. Races, interactive games, music, prizes and giveaways throughout the day. Visit www.mountaindewvc.com for more details. Mid-Atlantic Snowboard Series Sunday - Slalom and Giant Slalom events on Pocono Raceway and Halfpipe event in the Oak Grove Pipe. Pre-register online at snowboardseries.com Apres Ski (Main Lounge) Saturday - Flashback 4pm-8pm Sunday - Dr. Cheeko 2pm-6pm SPRINGFEST WEEKEND March 15 - 16 Pond Skimming Saturday - Don't miss our 3rd annual Pond Skimming Event, taking place at 1pm at the Sunbowl. Prizes will be awarded for best costume, best finish and best wipeout. Registration is free with a paid lift ticket or valid season pass and will be held from 10am- 12pm at the ski school desk. We will have a DJ, BBQ and fun for participants and spectators alike! Apres Ski (Main Lounge) Saturday - Soul Busters 4pm-8pm Sunday - Tom O'Lear Trio 2pm-6pm JIB STICK JUNGLE April 12 The second annual Slide Ink Spring Rail Jam will take place at the Snowtubing Park. Pre-registration will begin in March with a $15 entry fee. This event will be open to skiers and riders of all ages. There will be cash prizes, a DJ, BBQ and fun for all! ski911 Posted February 17, 2008 Report Share Posted February 17, 2008 Don't forget the Ski Patrol "Open House" at the top of the Sullivan Lift (Ski Patrol Shack) on the 1st and 2nd (I think it is both days)(I guess I should know that!).
