ECRider Posted February 20, 2011 Report Share Posted February 20, 2011 I'm a long time boarder from JFBB and always love taking trips up to Mt. Snow especially now that they have Carinthia! But I recently read an article in Ski Pennsylvania/Ski Northeast about other Peaks Resorts in NH. I didn't take the trip up to Atitash or Wildcat but decided to check out Crotched Mountain. Being from Boulder I know what a good park is, and Croched has a pretty good one. Very progressive and their big park is just that, Big! oldtimeskier Posted February 20, 2011 Report Share Posted February 20, 2011 EC: I have family in the Milford, NH area and have visited Crotched many times. It is a small mountain by NH standards, but nice just the same. Probably similar in size to JF. The terrain is challenging, the conditions are usually very good and it is never crowded.
