The temperature was 38 degrees at noon but it was WINTER today. Very cold biting winds and the dark sky meant nothing was was melting. The surface was firm and skiable all day and real snow started falling at 3PM. It was cold enough for the falling snow to accumulate like styrofoam beeds and not just melt on the wooden decks.
