Doesn't it being totaled by your insurance mean bad things tho? like if you get in an accident again and it comes up as totaled to begin with... they don't have to pay... did u already get paid the value of the truck, since they called it totaled? And if that was the case didn't they take the truck?

Alright, so I know with the holidays that just passed a lot of us were out there on the slopes, did anybody do anything special? get out alot? meet any new message board people (or random people for that matter)? Did anybody make any donations, or see any donations made to the panty tree? I'm just wondering how everybody's vacation on the slopes were. Myself, I only got to CB this friday, which was very warm but not a bad day of skiing... I skied the day with AlmostAspen, which is always a fun time, busted my ass on a rail, and called a ranger a "cop at a speed trap". Other than that I spent time in New Hampshire over the new year and got some good skiing in. So, while not many people are skiing right now and things are slow, share your stories!

Alright, so since yesterday morning, I have had a killer stiff neck, I thought I just slept on it wrong, but usually when that happens it goes away quickly. The only thing I can think of that could have happened is on friday I landed badly from a jump (landed going backwards) and fell onto my back and snapped my head back pretty good... I felt fine friday night and saturday, but starting sunday morning it was killer, I kept a heating pad on most of the day yesterday, and it was just as bad when I woke up this morning... any ideas? On a related note... What is a good helmet to buy? I'm in the market.

Haha good, so that just allows us to do our thing. I hope this board catches on a people keep coming, it's a better place to talk.

Thanks alot for the legal insight Ski999, and yes I agree that we don't need them here, that was the whole reason for creating this board.

Eh, trying to get some clarifications on legal matters, I don't really know how that works... We're not trying to kill their board, we just wanted a place we could talk openly and honestly about cb (and other areas) that was not designed to be a marketing tool for them.

It's not a bad idea, people could post pics and stuff... I don't have the space/bandwidth at this time to host the pics, but as always u can link to them from here. A pictures forum may be worth some exploration.

True enuf... but when does it stop being their job and start being egotistical? You were there, and you were actually the one who she was watching, not me. It's not even like my experience was a big deal, but we've seen them do a lot of stuff that is completely unnecessary.

That's what I figured, if he can't even look at criticism, and thinks that every one of their employees is perfect than screw it... that was the first time I had a problem with anyone there, and I didn't expect to be threatened for it... so oh well, now we'll talk here where there is no ski nazzi

I would just like to avoid legal trouble if I can... if we have any lawyers in the crowd with experience with things like copyrights (or even hell... defamation of character type of stuff), then that would help, I have no idea

Well let's see, there was a whole topic about rangers raking and maintaining trails, and I told the story of a bad experience I had with a ranger the other night, and led to a little bit of venting about overzealous rangers. Then a bunch of us got this nasty-gram I'm going to state this quite simply. If you provoke the bashing of employees (in this case Rangers) on the Camelback message board, I will remove you from the board. Whether you agree or not, Camelback employees work hard and I'm not going to stand by and let you post a bunch of garbage that will be read by our employees and guests. You now have a choice... Respect our employees and our message board, or take your comments elsewhere. Our message board is not the appropriate forum for your attacks. That bugged me a bit, so we started this. That's about it Dave deleted the raking rangers post so u can't see it.

The weather should be optimal for pushing out LOTS of snow, and they should be able to open up most of their terrain quickly... we'll see if they stop snow making while it's still cold once everything opens up.

Ahh yes a spellcheck would be nice, but can't happen. I'm glad you like the look and speed of the new board and hope we can get some good, unrestricted talk going on soon!

Yeah this was a kicker to me, I'm sure plenty of people got Dave's little nasty-gram this morning and it kind of bugged me, that is why Atomic and I decided to do this. It is not bashing when they're doing a bad job at what they're supposed to be doing.
