Post some ideas of what you'd like to see next year at Boulder.
I'd like to see something of this nature in the plaza or bottom of freedom. They had a smaller version of this at Park City this year and it was fun.
-
Bump this in the fall when we have traffic. Someone will buy it. Maybe just start a new thread and don't let on that you will sell it for that cheap.
Yeah, I gave up selling my snow shit for now, I will try again once winter gets closer. People just aren't looking for boards and jackets this time of year when the weather is warm.
$140 is a good price for that board, you should throw it up on eBay in the fall.

I would have to say the most unusual feature Boulder built this year was the jump-snow butter box-down box deal. It was only up for a couple weeks in December but it was pretty fun and definitely unusual. I want to see more of this stuff next year. Hard to find good pics but heres a couple.
-
The box wouldn't be a problem for me because I'd clear that shit..
Nope, not funny at all. I remember reading a post where someone said you had trouble clearing a 10 foot jump at Blue.
Can you please stop posting in this thread unless you have something relevant to say. Every one of your posts is garbage.
I don't think Boulder will ever be able to have a jump like that. But anyways, that is a sick setup Stowe has but I hate quarter pipes.Didn't notice the hidden jump lol. Jump looks fun, would probably be scary hitting it the first time with a box above you.
Yeah, obviously something of that size is out of the question for Boulder, or anyone on the east coast for that matter. The amount of snow that takes to build is ridiculous.
One thing I liked about that is the idea of making hips out of the sides of the jump. That could probably be done on the right side of one of the Boulder park hits.

Speaking of ridiculous set-ups...
Boulder, take notes.

Nice edit, just not really diggin the music, but do your thing. Sno's park does look pretty fun from the looks of it. But why is the staircase set up so steep?

RightEmpire..all you do is hate..you hardly ever post but when you do it's mostly garbage...
If you weren't a dumbass, you would have understood that I was posting against all the hate towards Rob. But all that posting on PASR probably kills brain cells.
And look at 90% of the threads you started. You can't tell me thats not garbage.

I guess you missed all the damage Rob tried to inflict during the time when SMLLC needed support during the purchase. Not that he was able to make a difference, there was enough lack of support that allowed Washo to squeeze the new owners out of an extra million dollars. What did the county do with the million dollars? Gave middle and upper management county employees a small raise and created a fund for courthouse "enhancements", whatever that means.
So when I hear Rob make any input on what Sno should or shouldn't do, I tend to view it as the same old bullshit from a blowhard who tried to hurt the mountain from the start.
And my post made no sense? I thought it was pretty clear that I think it's a bummer that a talented little racer was turned off of the sport by someone with "Little League Parent Syndrome". I saw it coming for two years and even---sadly---predicted it would happen. And I think it's a bummer that the same parent enters little boys in comps with fractured bones and the opinion of a doctor who tried to put the "fear of God" in the kid if he actually competed.
Santa, try removing the layer of bullshit that comes out of his mouth and just look at the facts and you might see my point of view. I'm not saying you have to or anything, but from someone who has coached two sports for two decades, I can honestly say Rob is the worst kind of person for giving advice.
Was I the only person who noticed Rob trying to stir up trouble right before the Rev Tour when he made a post about dangerous power lines being too close to the Superpipe? The fucker will enter his son in a comp with a broken bone---against doctors very strong orders---but then tries to cause problems because of a power line....
Yeah, I have a really bad reaction to just about anything he posts. My tipping point was when he promoted a video of his son being sexually molested by an adult woman during a hazing. Does it offend you that I didn't sugar coat that? If so, then, yes, I'm guilty of starting fights and ruining threads for looking forward to the time he disappears.
Its kind of funny how almost all of your posts are about Rob, and they are not just short posts, they are like small essays focused on him. Why the fuck do you care about him and his family so much? Just leave him be. Stop bitching and moaning about HIS problems, just worry about yourself. Seriously, we've heard the same thing over and over in every thread you post in and it blows up into a huge argument. There is no reason to try to publicly humiliate him every single time you are given an opportunity.

Ya sorry to seem bitter and rain on what was a real fun time and great setup, but its just the same old story. They didn't have any ski sponsors so it makes sense that there wouldn't really be any skier-oriented prizes. It does seem like the skier turnout is getting better and better though, so hopefully we'll start seeing some more love.
I understand where you're coming from, but when only 25 skiers show up versus 175 snowboarders, it makes sense for the prizes to be better for the latter since it would obviously take more talent to stand out and place well.
But if they only threw out gear to those who were riding well, then it is unfair if a skier who is killing gets a snowboard related prize or even worse, nothing.
-
Unless there was something after i left, it was just if you threw down, you get some little prize, like head phones, or some DVD's or something.
No cash prizes? I think last year they gave out some money for first, second, third.
There is a write being done along with photos and an edit. I'll copy it and post it here when it goes up tomorrow.Word, i'm waiting for the edits to pop up everywhere.

yeah I'l love to hit something like that on my twin-tips..and try to bust out a 1440 rodeo switch grab tindy..JEA!!!!
Why do you have to fag up every thread you post in? I wouldn't mind you as much if you just posted normal thoughts and ideas, not lame ass jokes followed by "JEA" or "mad steezy yo".

the bigger question is why cant anyone build setups like that during the season?
Stowe didn't even build it, they paid Snowgrind to. I haven't ridden Stowe's parks personally but I heard they are pretty shitty most of the time.
-
So bummed I couldn't make it. If anyones got any pics, results, write-up, that would be sick to hold me over till next year.
-
Why can't Stowe build setups like this during the season?
Chris Carr
Rotax
Carr again
Not sure who this is
-
whats a rythym section? like moto-cross rollers?
If it does get built, I assume it will be like the ones Bear Creek had up on closing day.
Don't you have to be able to see your feet to ride park? He's a nice guy, just a little out of shape. By asking if he anyone has seen him ride, I didn't mean it in a negative way. I was just curious if someone who builds great parks also has the ability to ride most of the features he makes.
-
Has anyone seen Ian ride? I only saw him twice all year and I don't remember him hitting anything in the parks.
-
I heard Ian might be building a rhythm section if there is enough snow.
-
Post who you are and what you do at Boulder or go back under your bridge like the coward troll that you are.
I dont know what the fuck your deal is, but apparently no one cares about this but you. You posted the same fucking question 50 times and your not going to get an answer because he doesnt want to give his name to some random person on the internet.
Please, JUST SHUT YOUR MOUTH, ITS GETTING OLD.
-
That's funny. I've been "spammed" by JFBB.
Fluff-
Dude, just tell us your name and what you do at JFBB already.
You are being so freaking shady, it's not even funny anymore.
Hahahahhaha, I love how it boggles your mind that no one wants to car pool with you or ride with you.
-
The new issue of allus has a profile on a kid name erik that lists his home mountain as camelback, that now lives in steamboat i guess. just thought id see whats up before i head out to lunch. video? pics?
I think his brother is still around here and rides at boulder sometimes. I remember that name being thrown around once in a while. Where can I get my hands on a copy of the mag?
-
How hard would it be for BB to set up some kind of "tow rope" to pull you back up to the top of the park?
I can think of a few qhetto-engineered solutions. It can't be that difficult, right?
C'mon every rail jam i've heard of has had a tow rope. Some summer rail jams even have air conditioning. Do you think Boulder could somehow install a dome over the rails so they could pump cold air in if its a hot day?
-
Did you edit that? So sick. I gotta know what song that is...
-
Yes. He was in our way. No. He doesn't need to be inches from the feature to take shots. No. I don't give a fuck who he is.
That crew taking pics were in the way and then acted like assholes when it was pointed out to them.
If your're going to take pics, you need stay out of the way. Period.
<---- see my avatar
Unless you have a seizure on the rail and fall off sideways, theres no way you were going to hit him. He was getting a little close on the pole jam but definately nothing I was worried about.
The two guys your talking about have nothing to do with technine. They just rep the shit haha. Real real cool guys. I ride with them from time to time. They are from Czechoslovakia too. And their accent rocks.
Thats what I figured. I was talkin to the guy in the red hoodie for a bit, he had a pretty sweet accent. Where are they from? I'm trying to get ahold of one of guys see if they got any decent shots.
Next year...

Yes a c box would be nice. Instead of a big poppy jump i'd like to see a huge hip (bottom of boulder park).
Thats what freedom is for. There were 2 or 3 ride on flat boxes perfect for kids.
I highly doubt you will ever see a high speed quad for Boulder park. Even though its a slow lift it only takes a couple minutes.
