  1. damn. anyone else going to be there at night time? i cant make it until around 5. i have to drive to baltimore to get my new car. ill be coming up solo as all my friends feel their frickin girlfriends are more important than snowboarding anymore. damn. to be fair a few have work...

shit. would it even be worth it to bring a first timer along? hes been buggin me to bring him snowboarding all fall.

I know how that goes with your friends and girlfriends. Everybody is whipped these days.

Well yeah Im heading out in about a half hour, see everybody there. Im wearing white pants, bluish undershirt and a red tshirt over top of that, and possibly a cat in the hat hat. :)

  2. Earliest open seen in a lonnnnnng time if ever for PA. Thats got some potential. Its gonna be crowded but hey Im not gonna complain to get to ride this early in the season. And you gotta figure that they are going to be first to be 100% open. Last year when everybody closed down they opened their big park. haha

  3. The forecast looks rather promising. And I have to agree that I dont think they were just saying at the rail jam all day that they were gonna try to blow snow for shits and giggles. Seriously if they are going to attempt to open this early why try to doubt it? Be happy there is a possibility to ride or ski this early and hope for the best.

  4. AHH the old rails! I think I just creamed myself. I thought they were all gone. haha but seriously we have the longest park around basically and a lot of the smaller parks around almost have as many jibs if not more. We could definately throw a lot more in there. What Im hoping for is more double or even triple take off jumps. Well maybe not triple but definately double. That dfd looks like a lot of fun though. Props to Park Crue its looking good.

  5. Any ideas on where it will be placed?

Maybe the halfpipe? Then the pipe would be semi-worth riding! haha j/k Nah Im guessing near the cement mixer at the bottom of Lower Sidewinder or in Terrain Run. I dont see it making its way up to come around and it would take up way to much room on such a small trail. It looks like a fun feature. Its gonna be pretty wide so itll be nice to screw around on and stuff. I do agree a better investment could of been made but hey its Blue's call not ours.

I really miss the old rails like the massive rainbow that was actually a rail, and the c rail and that sweet flat down back in the day. That flat to step down flat rail was pretty cool too. Lets not forget the sharkfin.

  6. so i was thinking, i know we have new rails and all that, so a snow feature i would like to see would be a nice quarterpipe somewhere... and that made me think, it would be even more awsome if it was a spine, they are soo much fun.. but something like that would proly get run down way too quickly?

Yeah man 1/4 pipes are sick but mad hard to maintain. A spine would be pretty crazy. They had the quarterpipe at the bottom of the halfpipe last year which was alright at times but angled wrong I think cause the only way to get any decent speed was to rip down the side of the pipe. I think a sweet spot for 1 would be right after where the crackerbarrel was last year. Like the landing of it but all the way up against the tree line.

set up the wallride on an angle like this:

    Exactly.

  7. i have an idea for blues park, it would be a sick progressive feature, a big ass Bowl coated w/ like polyeuratheane, not too deep but sloped enough to get mad pop, but still be able to butter and slide through the "dish", just an idea :drink:

I agree it would be sick but like 3/4 of the people at Blue cant make it over a 10ft butter box.
