  4. Sounds good Mark. Thanks for keeping us updated.
  5. dentons site now says there opening the 12th. If they would have opened this week i would have maybe made the trip because my family has a cabin in that area.
  6. Theres a new thread for the 09-10 discount pass
  7. yeah your right, my bad. and thanks for the tip glenn.
  8. Thats a crail. I was trying them today but couldn't get my back hand to reach the nose of my board.
  9. Cascade has a new 4 hit jumpline that is really alot of fun, although i was having trouble with speed today and would knuckle the third jump and didn't hit the last one. The lips are all long and mellow. I'm liking the new jumpline alot.
  10. Yeah. Looks like its going to be at boulder this year instead of KOP. http://www.buckmans.com/buckmans-ski-snowb...l-Jam-2009.aspx
  11. I was wrong about the hip. I think its going to be a butter pad. I went back up to bear at night because my brother decided to go and it is deffinatly not a hip. They also were putting the mailbox out on the cliff and the dfd box and tear drop rail were also out.
  12. The snow today was rock solid. Cascade was closed and they are rebuilding. It seem to be coming along quite well with some jumps and what looked like a large hip. The wall ride that was at the bottom of tubing two years ago looks like it is going to make a reappearance in cascade also.
  13. I think friday is just a rail jam so i'm thinking it will just be a few rails setup at the bottom of the hill so the jump line will be open. The jumps line in black bear park that everyone is talking about is four small jumps that are real fun followed by a rail/box section. I'm not a big fan of cascade's setup right now but for $12, I would say its deffinatly worth it to hit up bear on friday.

you must have been there at night. Snow conditions during the day today weren't too bad.
  15. "Our top notch snowmaking team has taken advantage of the recent cold weather and produced tons of fresh, new snow at Bear Creek! On Monday, December 15 we'll be opening 12 new trails (bringing our total to 19!) and unveiling new set-ups in both the Cascade and Black Bear terrain parks! There's never been a better time to hit the slopes (or spend the night at our slopeside hotel)! "
  16. yeah,i would rather see the fdf changed to a dfd also
  17. coditions tonight weren't too good. they actually had more snow than i thought they might, but it was real icy and the rails/boxes were all super sticky. I only stayed for 45 minutes because conditons weren't too good and i have other things to do.
  18. well since nobody has started a setup/park conditions report, i figured i would. Conditions tonight were pretty good. Snow was fairly soft and lips weren't too bad. There is a new small hip on the left side at the top of cascade. My only complaint with bears setup is that the little jump where the halfpipe used to be seems like either the tabletop need to be shortened or the lip needs to be bigger.
  19. x2. i really like that too. that was my favorite feature up there when i went last weekend.
  20. i'll be there. i'm so pumped for tomarrow
