Well, Doug, you're wrong. That simple. Have fun masking your inability to ski by going fast. When you are going through piles of snow speed is your friend. It's like driving up a hill in snow. All about momentum. Have fun making your little doodle slow deliberate turns in deep slush with your fancy pole plants.

Really nothing to do with speed at all unless you are on a flat. It's all balance, stance, quiet/stable upper body, and ability to turn both feet.In soft snow use the widest skis possible and go as fast as possible. Speed is your friend..if you go slow in soft snow it will just eat you up. Probably peacing out of work around 2pm. Will likely just ski razors the whole time maybe challenge. I can't mess with low angle runs if the snow is slow.

Was wearing a black Martin Guitar hoodie and riding with snowboarders all night. I knew you'd be there so I was keeping my eye out but we were all over the place. Think it's the first night sesh where I literally skied every open trail at least once. Burma with these guys was a boarderX trail haha... Poor Asian dudes had no idea what was coming.Lady who skis there all the time and runs a couple of the LV ski clubs, she knows the one groomer guy.....I can never remember her name....I'm so bad with names....
How did I not see you ? I got there around 7 and there was nobody home.

Started off very sticky and was faster by 6:30ish. True that edges not necessary but did get some good carving runs in. Bumps on main pretty good. Challenge had some thin spots in the troughs. Nightmare bumps were my fave. Gonna go ahead and give NMDW ROTD status. Fun spring night.Last night was sweet, edges were not necessary, like 4 people there, snow was face melting fast and pretty smooth.
Got passed on falls like i was standing still was like damn....then saw it was a girl was like double damn.....Blue told groomers open normal until this weekend, next week is fri, sat, sun at best.

Oh, of course... run "run", not a ski "run"....
Well, by all means, Toast, please try some whirleybirds on your run. I will not stop you.
-
Holy shit... are you actually skiing?! Color me impressed.
-
That's pretty neat. Makes me wonder if that's the type of thing that would make you consider trading your running tights for ski clothes for once.Just heard that since the Aquashicola Creek and Beltzville Lake have thawed there is chance of doubling or tripling snow totals at the peak of Widow Maker.

Did I really say It like that? Wow. Might as well just give him the reach around next time I see him. That's cute.

If anyone deserves good conditions, it's you. Have a blast up there.2am shit got rowdy almost slept in the car like the old days
-
This morning on the web cam there was a 5ft wide grassy patch running through the discovery area that I presume was made by running water. They've since patched it up. For those that have a hard time visualizing how wide that really is, it is about as wide as Widow Maker typically is deep.Weather keeps looking worse each time I check. You guys better enjoy it while it lasts. I wouldn't be surprised if they close early this year. I can only image what BC must look like after the rain yesterday.

Article says 1200 interested. That's only about a 7% take rate if 80 units. Definitely seems reasonable.

Compensation and other measures provided to victims of these severe human rights violations shall be made by the parties responsible, namely Jeff and Doug.I've been dealing with him since the day he signed on. I demand several pounds of dank shatter.

I'd need El Chapos entire stash three times over to compensate everyone that has put up with you for years. He prob couldn't hyper carve. I'm giving Johnny law free weed this weekend for having to put up with you!!!

They are both right. Johnny Law had a good time skiing shit. As did I. Jeff won't admit he had a good time skiing shit.Wait so atomic Jeff said that Monday night was shit and Johnny law said it was good. Who do I believe???

Oh wow. Trunk? Cheeto? Impressive work.pretty good conditions this morning. I thought yesterday was better but it was still really good. Now for what everybody wants to hear..
It started out as a quiet morning. Everybody doing their thing. All of a sudden we see Matt Edge who is waiting at the top of the lift for Doug, most likely because he was going to beat the hell out of him for making fun of his spine grinding on PASR. Little did we expect, they hugged it out and there were no issues between the two.
Was this a sign of what was to come between him and TheDude? Read on to find out....
We skied all over the mountain as conditions were pretty good on every trail except Razors. Lots of spine grinding. We were running two sixpacks deep at some points. Everybody enjoying themselves. Then all of a sudden we hear "Hey GSS - you suck!".
We all look around.
Nobody can be found.
15 minutes later we are back in the lot. Beers are being popped. Tinnies, cracked. As GSS walks to his car we hear a thump. All of a sudden TheDude pops out of Doug's trunk. He has a cheeto stuck to the side of his face, a Sheetz nacho and cheese on his jacket, SFRB stuck in his beard, and a penny is his boot. Clearly he has been stuck in Doug's trunk for quite some time. Did he get in himself to scare GSS and beat the crap out of him? Or did GSS kidnap him and put him in there himself? Read on to find out.....
As GSS approaches his car, it is obvious that TheDude is there on his own to scare Doug and beat his ass. Doug sucks his face back like he is surprised, exposing his third chin. Soon after, TheDude hops out and the battle is on. A glorified cat fight, but this soon turns into a grinding session. They are grinding each other's spines and things are just getting awkward. We all left as they continued to grind. It was the last thing anybody expected from today, but at least the skiing and beer was good.
I wouldn't be surprised if they are still grinding spines right now....

I didn't ask you that but, yes, she good.I only take ski advice from Mrs. Snowbunski
-
I never offer unsolicited advice. But if anyone asks I am always willing to help. Don't be shy.Is it uncomfortable to sit on the chairlift with beer in your back pocket?? Nice streak..my best streak is 61 days back in 2007 all at Blue...be honored that phillycore included your quotes in his signature...you definitely should give JLaw some skiing pointers...he doesn't know what to do with his hands..level two stuff for sure. See you this weekend Dude!!!
Well that's what I'm saying. I was messing around. If you only use real rage quits then that messes up the integrity of your sig which I am sure you hold in the highest esteem.Dude.... It's all in fun my man. Believe me, Doug was pretty sincere about leaving all those times as well. PASR is like an abusive relationship and we are all still here because skiers in general are a bunch of twisted mofo's when it comes to "normalcy"
-
Does the sincerity of posts in your sig quotes matter at all? Because if it does, this one ruins the integrity of it all. You may have to reconsider. Otherwise, yay, I'm honored.Might have to start adding dude's quotes to my signature file as well.
Did the night thing last night. It was a blast. With some dirt wolf in our front pockets (and back pockets) we hit the snow around 6pm. Good firm snow with waaaaay more grip than Tuesday night. The bumps everywhere where glacial in the troughs but tops were butter. Saw JLaw in yet another outfit I had not seen before but his signature style of skiing always remains.
After 13 straight days of stepping into boots, clicking into my bindings, and sliding down a hill it was starting to lose its luster a bit but it all came back last night with smiles all around.

Not that it wouldn't be hilarious and probably satiate your thirst for blood for ten minutes, but I can think of at least 98 other reasons why I wouldn't fight Doug, none of which are flattering to him.You need to fight Doug
-
Not beef. Just trolling. This is the worst beef in all of the land. Step it up boys!!
Cant dance but I sure can grind. If you guys aren't going to fight, can we at least get a dance-off?
just because you have a black "friend" doesn't mean you aren't racist. What racism I said before I have a black friend, his name is Kevin and he's surprisingly really polite. My friend Dave is dark skinned Asian so he's almost black especially cause he likes rap music and fried chicken. Anyway stop trolling me.
Nah Matt Twitt would get served...
-
We've already established your racism a while back. Only homophobes say faggot these days so verdict is guilty. I love how you think that because I actually make turns that it'd be hard for me to just stand on a couple of tongue depressors and point the tips down the hill.I'm not racist at all and not homophobic either. Calling someone gay doesn't mean they like men when someone says that's gay it means it's lame.
-
oh man, he mad.Outside Lehigh elementary school the flag is at half mast. Why is that??? Oh prob cause PASRs biggest tool and only level three quit...keep puffing your vape pen and bumming cigs off Johnny law..don't worry Matt Edge dick will also be at half mast when he sees you tonight.
Good to know you are not just a racist, but also a homophobe.Hahaha wouldn't even be close...id rather do a top to bottom race at Jackson hole. TheDude would prob be so concerned with rhythmic pole plants that he'd ski right off a cliff. Shit is hilarious.
I was in the mood for a waffle or fish and chips on the way out of blue but all the stands are closed. Pretty lame considering its presidents week and a pretty decent crowd... image.jpeg
Nah I don't fight faggot ski instructors.
3/6....still winter.

And, furthermore, the only thing stupid here is Doug's stupid advise.
