Lets not get crazy... Elk is number 1 in PA. You don't even need to drive to VT.lol I know! Clearly makes Blue Mountain #1 in PA.

WM was clearly helped out by excess over blown snow from sleepy hollow... 5" tues night was on skiers right of the trail. Crazy it's up to 40" now!!!! Wahahoooey!!!I was up this morning. Awesome conditions.

I didn't make it over to widow maker, though. There was about 40" of pow on it and I just couldn't make it on to the trail.

That's funny, last I checked it was only waist deep.reports of nipple deep turns on Widow Maker! Get it!

The most surprising part of this thread was that Johnny law waited around to ski with you...lol
Oh don't get all sore... it's all fun and games, duder.

I never talked about my wiener you mouth breathing nincumpoop!

Well for those that were not there, but should have been there, but didn't come because they were somewhere else, yes, 2" accurate. I cannot explain why WM had more. Just wish it wasn't at the top of the double (or that I had more than one beer in my pocket so I had a excuse to ride that rickety old thing again) otherwise I would have skied it twice and brought my cack measuring tool with me.
-
Must have been some serious creek/pond effect snow on Widow Maker from the Aquashicola and Buckwha creeks, or from the fishing pond.

Feel free to ask him if he skied widow maker.Odd. JLaw says 2".....

Are you a "grower" or a "show-er"?5"??? How much beer did you drink on the beer lift? Measuring with the penis measuring ruler again?
-
Switchback was real good but it had more chop than WM. I only made my way to widow maker after riding the beer lift and saw that it was mostly 4-5" untouched snow. I am not saying it was rotd but it had the best snow. Skiing tops of bumps was just raw because not many people do the reverse line and soft fluffy snow was just piled up there... So good.I thought Switchback was the best.
Every time I rode it, I had the entire slope to myself.

Ha! I waited for you at the challenge bumps when I saw you on the chair up top but you went to razors (I don't blame you, razors was sweet). Had so much fun tonight. Best snow I found was on widow maker, no one must have skied that all night. Main bumps were nice two. Good smeary fresh snow.

If it's anything like Monday night was, it'll be real good.

Err'body was getting some bump action.

BC closed as well.BB didn't open last night.

Not much detail provided. Was he wearing a helmet? Was there a collision with another skier/rider? What was his ability? What terrain? Need to find a patroller with the inside scoop...

Love how blue closes on a day with 15 minutes of rain followed by a rainbow and sunshine but remains open in this... who is making these calls? hilarious.

This site would suck in the summer more than it already does without him, I can say that much.
Reported.

I wouldn't be honest if I said I had a good experience with Dieter. I may be the exception.

Not to derail a fantastic thread but I see Phillycore's sig has a new quote from december... I see that grilledsteezesandwich voluntarily offered to leave and no one took him up on that offer?!!

It's the truth and how did the slow ski patroller catch up to you??? By the way I have a black friend named Kevin. Some of the rap songs I sing at karaoke have the N word and I asked Kevin if it's ok if I say it as its part of the lyrics and he said it's cool so now if anybody ever questions me using the N word at karaoke I'll just say Kevin says it's ok. I'm not racist since I have a black friend even though Kevin is really well mannered and talks like a white person lol.

^Listen to this Pennsyltucky hillbilly... SmhNice report and it's hard to find black people in the dark. They blend right in.

I arrived in the upper lot at approximately 6:35pm fully expecting to be served a crispy toasted English muffin, which I was OK with as I did not stop at either sheetz or wawa on the way up. To my surprise the snow was still soft and cream cheesy but it was firming up ever so slightly such that it did not hinder speed. Superb carving conditions.
As I made my way down midway to Main Street making sweeping GS turns a sole ski patroller was skiing from one side to the other and left me no choice but to come to a near stop as he skied right in my path... Slightly annoying me because there literally was no one else on the trail and the one guy managed to somehow get in my way... Anyway, turns out he caught up to me at the quad and rode the chair with me. I was able to uncover the fact that he was on a search and rescue mission for a lost 9 year African American in a pink jacket with blue helmet that has never skied before.
As we ascended the lift, a snowboard was racing down razors like a missile and aired of the lower head wall. The owner of the snowboard was sprinting down razorback in orange boots (with little hope of catching up to it). How did it get away from him... Maybe he stopped to piss??? Towards the bottom of razorback he lost it and super-manned on his belly like a champ. Weird start to the night...
The place was a total ghost town. Never set up fully and was soft snow all night. Bumps on challenge, barneys, and nightmare were magical in the hero snow. Challenge:
Today was day 40 for me and I still needed to take a break in the challenge bumps....smh.
Anyway, great night mixing in carving runs with bump runs.

Yes'th.Razor's opened last night after lafyette left and it was pretty good, best snow by far.
It's a nice trail the like 10 times a year you get to ski it.

Was up last night for some GS runs but bumps on Grizz and Squatch had me distracted... same might be true for the slalom gates tonight haha
