  1. The sucky part is that I think they put me in the data-base, because after the guy said I wasn't in the system, the guy said "well, this is one we definetily need to add", I think it was because I was with my snowboarder friend who also got pulled over. The worst part about the whole story is that while we were being "escorted" to the first aid building, a gaper that was in tuck down home strecth actually plowed me down from behind going in a full pizza-tuck... and the patroller asked him if he was alright!! Besides for this one time, I have never had any probelm with the patroll and thought they were pretty cool.

  2. I really hate those patrollers, I got my first "ticket" a few weeks back for "traveling with excessive speeds" down paradise. I wasn't even going that fast and I probably could of out run the dude but I didn't want to risk having the season pass taken. I then had to go sit in a room for 10 minutes while the guy called me in and made sure i hadn't been pulle over before, otherwise he said he would have revoked my pass for a week, i hate those overprotective patrollers sometimes.(even though I know they are just doing their jobs) <_<

  3. Thanks, and if you need someone to ride the park with, look for me in all brown with grey helmet and the spy goggles on the ntb's, also I might see you at the rail jam at king of Prussia

  4. Are you one of the dudes who has the video on NS, if so you guys are sick but I still haven't seen you up in Sidewinder... if I did I would shake your hand because that was a sic vid!

  5. I don't know why I find them so stiff, it could be because they are 175's and I am pretty light, don't know, but have tried my friends armada's and they made mine feel like 2 by 4's. Also, I ride these skis becuase I picked them up online new for only $125. Otherwise I would have got something else, but I used the money i saved to pay for my pass at blue. But thanks

  6. Hey I could use some help too

    height: 5' 8"

    weight:140

    age:17

    ability: advanced

what you ski most often: park and woods

where you ski most often: blue

how aggressive are you: pretty aggressive

what you currently ski on (boots/skis/bindings): Nordica beasts(boots), 175 cm Dynastar Nothing-But-Troubles, 07 Rossi Ax scratch(bindings)

what you like/don't like about your current set up: skis are super stiff and got some weight to them

I'm trying to figure out a new setup, any help would be appreciated, hopefully lighter and more flexible so I can get past the 3's and maybe land a 5!

  7. I don't live close enough to Blue, and haven't been up since the weekend so I need to know how the mountain is holding up. I'm tired of looking at the live webcam because it doesn't show the trails that are actually open. Please someone help me out and take a few pictures either today or tommorow so I can see how the mountain is looking. Thanks!!

  8. I was up there yesterday afternoon getting my pass picture and I was pumped when I saw just how much snow they had made. I had my gear in the car and asked an employee if I could hike it but he told me that they were about to roll through with a groomer and hiking isn't allowed, bummer. But anyway, the ladies in the office said that from what they have been told, they won't be opening anytime before Dec. 7th. After I got my picture and checked out the snow, I went down below and checked it out from the base. It was weird but they blew snow in one of the tubinh lanes. From below Midway looked really nice. One more thing, the new trail looked like it might be good to go because it looked like they had the stuff on it that you put down to grow grass, and it looked like it opened up perfectly on to paradise. I don't know about you guys, But for me...THE COUNTDOWN HAS BEGUN!!!!!

  9. skip killington and drive a little farther to Jay peak, they got like 40 inches earlier this week and they are the only ones who are still 100% open... it's amazing. There season total is 412 inches so far(There above season average 385 inches). Trust me, head where the snow is at. Check it out at www.jaypeakresort.com

  10. That's a good joke but when I was there a few weeks ago I was talking to a patroller and he was saying that they were trying to expand the mountain off the back up where the main quad ends. He said they had the money and could add a bunch of steep new trails... but one guy is holding out on selling his land to them. :banghead

  11. The tubing park jump line was sick this year at Bear, at now they have the biggest jump I have ever seen them build on the right before the wall. As for rails/boxes, I'm not that great at sliding yet so I like the long flat one where the rail-jam was last weekend.

  12. I was up there on saturday and sunday and was wondering the same thing, so when I was riding the lift with a patroller in the afternoon I asked him and he told me that at the patroller meeting they had that morning... they were hoping to stay open until March 28th, but it depends

  13. I know what your talking about... when I had my pass 3 years back i could ride the park all day and not have to wait in line to drop in on a jump and now your lucky if you only have to wait for 5-10 drop before you.
