Blue states that they have made the best conditions even better... Is it true. Did they come back after the warm weekend and hurricane force wind gust Monday and Tuesday? I didn't get much snow down by me yesterday, how was the Allentown area? I haven't been to Blue since last week and I remember the condidtions being the best I've seen in a while, there was snow everywhere. I took off tomorrow, so depending on my night tonight and how far I feel like driving in the morning its a toss up between Blue or Elk. Can someone shoot me a report if you were there yesterday. Excuse me if it has been posted in another thread but unfortunately my boss sits behind me and I cannot read thru post all morning...

I got screwed out of a trip to VT this weekend becasue now i have to work Sunday... I'm taking off tomorrow to ride at Elk to salvage my lost VT experience. Haven't been there since last year. What's it like durring the week. I'm taking it that they still haven't put in a high speed lift? is there enough snow off the trails to maybe dip in the woods a little. I remember the park being pretty small w/ a flat almost butter box, a flat rail and 3 kickers, is it still like that? I do remember it being the best terrain in PA though, so if the snow is still good, I'm there. Thanks

Any chance of throwing a wall ride at the end of Freedom? There's a ton of room for it after the two boxes at the finish... Friday morning might be the day.. 3-6" overnight Thrusday into Friday. Are the picnic tables setup like actual picnic tables (like how XNick11's pic is above)? Or is it more of a wide flat almost butter box with two lower narrow boxes running on each side to resemble a picnic table? Do you know what I mean?

I made it up there last night. Def a good time, conditions were great and Freedom is looking solid. I like how the park crew is seen raking throughout the night and checking the features... not something you see too often at other parks in PA. One question though... What happen to the features from last year, the barrells, long coffin box at the bottom, rainbow box, c-box...ect? Were they tossed for the new boxes and rails? Not that it matters since the new features are just as good if not better, just wondering...

Update online says: "1.28.07 The new freedom is done, it's a good time. We changed the fall line of the hill so dramatically with snow its nothing like the old park. We are going to be rebuilding boulder park next. So expect more new things. -Ian-" I went and checked the features but it hasn't been updated since 1/11. If someone was there today or knows what new features are in, can you let me know? Thanks Mike
