We're expecting between 3-6 inches over here at JFBB. its been snowing for a little more than an hour.
Just a reminder big boulder PARK is open during the day all this week. 9am-9pm Mon-Thurs and 9am-10pm Fri.
I'll be ripping up some of EAST MTN tomorrow morning. maybe you'll see me in my green BBPark coat. I'll be filming and snapping pics. check out my video from last week's huge storm. snow storm video

The decision was made because of the weather. The snow is supposed to come in around race time, and we figure people wouldn't come, and if they did it would just be a bad turnout.
I'm gonna push for a race next week instead of in 2 weeks. no promises, but I think I can get them on board.

so are they continuing to blow tonight as initially planned or are they done for the week? temps seem to be ideal.
We made snow last night, and Jack Frost will be making snow on ONE park tonight.

"Conditions are back!! We have made snow all week plus 2"- 4"of natural snow on Thursday. We doubled the length of the BUMPS on Exhibition plus dusted them up 4 for 2 nghts. East ,Elevator and the Glades on in top shape with snowmaking an natural snow. Jarad has rebulit "One Park" and has all our features dialed in for the weekend. Some of the BEST surface conditons of the year can b found at Jack Frost this weekend. See ya out there!"
looks like Mother Nature and the snowmakers collaborated again for some awesome conditions!

invite only for a small POS jam in the middle of temple? i bet lots of people will be flying in, all those big name sponsors people ride for must be fighting over plane tickets.
Its snowboarding/skiing in Philadelphia. It will be awesome. I take it we shouldn't mark you down as attending?

they are good true Americans.... so they like whatever is ice cold....
I'd suggest Yuengling or Budweiser.

The 2nd annual Temple Bell Tower Rail Jam is this THURSDAY!!!
SNOWBOARDING IN PHILLY!!
come out 11am-3pm on Thursday at Temple University's Main Campus Bell Tower. It will be awesome, good weather, great riding, and an all around celebration of the sport!!
Temple University Snowboard Club is hosting its second annual Bell Tower Rail Jam this Thursday, January 28 in Philly.

Trans AM is this weekend at big boulder PARK. Saturday Jan 23rd. registration runs 8-9:30am.
Anyone can enter, Its free and there's a lot of stuff given away. Each year gets crazier, Make sure to mark this date on your calender. Included with your TransAM registration is a one year subscription to Transworld Snowboarding ($3 value).
it will pretty awesome. Johnny Lightning and the crew are building the setup tomorrow night in the plaza.

so who here hates Boulder Park's new site?? i liked the old one alot better.. i know the season just started and its probably not all set up yet but i really dislike it.. kinda wish they would of just kept it the same
