The weather is not being friendly at all today so big boulder ski area will not be open tonight 1/26/12. Staying off the parks today will ensure that tomorrow will be much better. We will resume normal operating hours tomorrow. Sorry and see you tomorrow.

Yup- I was just headed here to let people know. We didn't get the snowmaking night we had hoped- but tomorrow is looking good- expect a decision early tomorrow morning.

big boulder PARK is committed to opening as early as the temperatures allow with the best product possible- That's why we have been First to Open, Last to Close in Pennsylvania 5 years in a row now. That is something we take very seriously around here, and this year is no exception. We HOPE to have big boulder PARK open tomorrow from 12-8, with some features and a lift on Freedom running! Our snowmakers & park crew are going to be hard at work to help us get this done. Snow Passes will just be, $20 on Saturday. We are going to release a deal for Black Friday and Cyber Monday again this year. I wanted to make sure you guys were aware of this. SPRING HOURS Things have changed a little bit. Jack Frost is 100% open through March 13 and closed Monday and Friday.Jack Frost will re-open for Saturday and Sunday weather dependent. Big Boulder is 100% open with regular operating hours.

both ski areas have resumed snowmaking this week. Jack Frost already did all beginners last 2 nights. Easy Rider, bumps, Exhibition, Demattes, and Challenge. Tonight we are lighting up River Shot, Elevator, Lightning, and ONE PARK big boulder PARK has been making snow the past 2 days on Freedom PARK , Upper Sitzmark, Boulder PARK, Bunny's, tonight we will light up on LOVE PARK, Bunny's, Freedom, Upper Sitzmark, and Boulder PARK

making snow on the top of ONE PARK tonight for the contest rebuild.
