heres my idea... i think the only way you can eliminate stupid things like this from happening is taking out the easy part of the park we have. i know that its hard right now because we have one park open but i find that the kids that are sitting around are the ones that like ride on rails like that box so i say if they want ride on give them ride ons some where other than the park that most of the good locals ride on. i go to Kutztown and me and my roommate have been pass holders for 5 years and we have resorted to hitting up bear in the morning. he schedualed our classes so that we could go in the morning to avoid the problems at night. the other night i came off the first rail in the park and of course a few kids were sitting on the ground leavin me no room to ride away or anything so i had to bail and i put a pile of snow on their backs and i said dont F in sit here. i felt like such an ass but i had no other choice. i was in the park the day they put up the go ride signs and right after they were put up some kids sat there again i was like what is wrong with you kids can you not read!!!! and they got up and rode. but anyway i kinda rammbled on their . SOLUTION... get the kid park open with plenty of ride on rails and the intermediate park open with what ever you got. as for the expert park... set it up hard as possible the only reason kids go in there in the first place cause some things are set up easy and they like to crowd around it as they all watch each other 50 50 it. and i know at other mountains like killington, their expert TP was so hard to get in it kept people out of there so maybe like so big ass mogels or something haha i donno we need to keep the non expert riders out of the expert park...

1. sound system 2. making the big jumps in the tubing park perminant 3. more sick rails and more crazy line ups 4. SNOWFLEXXXXXXXXXXXXX 5. a tow rope for the park would be hottt (just for cascade)

im pretty sure that its costs some money to bike at bear but im going to take sides with the people that like the snowflex. that would deff bring in mad money and kids would come from everywhere to ride that shit. it would be insane. I think if snowflex is a deff possibility for bear then i say they should do it and i like the idea of the bunny hill but that also causes some problems but it also doesnt have much vert to it so it would be hard to make really nice features on it which is what you can see from searching snowflex parks online. just think about a park that never gets beat down by heavy traffic a landing that is never ice and a lip that never gets fucked up. it would be crazy to have one of them here

i think as far as the snowflex goes it would bring in a whole new crowd and lots of $$ i was doin my own research on the subject and it does look like a complex build but also worth it now dealing with a spot to put is a whole other subject it would be nice to have tho i think it should be a deff consideration

everything was up this morning - the small stair case but thats ok everything was set up nice and it was nice to see a lil jump in there too... GOOD WORK GUYS

i was there and it was so good to be at the mountain again, and i would like to say that our park crew is sick they were out there setting shit up with the blowers in their faces. u guys do an awesome job and finaly we will be able to see what you guys can do with snow.....the weather looks really good for the days ahead tooooo :rock :rock

i have a couple questions for this topic being that were talking, what sounds to be billions of dollars of investments to bear creek. first off what would be the most logical? After all there are like 4 possible ideas out there for increasing the amount of snow that would be able to be made in the shortest amount of time. how will affect our season passes and prices as far as the whole mountain? along with those questions as far as the length of the season will you guys blow snow untill the mountain cant handle anymore snow or are you just going to blow untill the profits are right for the year

yea dude im gonig to agree with him this has happened in years past so just chill and find a ride up north for the next week or so casue theres nuthing he or any of the BC staff can do. Im pretty confident in saying that the wait will be worth it esp. bc of the way the park looking of opening day with all 2 1/2 inches of snow they had. every one that comments on here and every other topic involving being upset with bear should just chill cause all them guys at bear have done a damn good job and continue to do so. If you all would have seen this mountain like 5 years ago you wouldnt even care about when they opened but the point is that every year this place gets better and better and they are pushing to be the best and in my opinion they are getting closer and closer every season. But if you really wanna blame some one (which is what everyone seems to want to do) blame global warming cause thats the bastard thats doin this shit. ROCK ON BEAR :rock
