Mr Steez I have found you here too - i am in america in pennsylvania too but there are no hill stations open for snobord and ski. I will make donuts tomorrow and then i will go to a vermont hill station. i know that there is one called killington.]

  2. Sweet...why did they change the name of Bombay to Mumbai??? Do you happen to work customer service for United airlines??? I know I always get India when I call with a question. It's snowing here..

it was originally mumbai - but when we were a british colony, they changed it to bombay. we changed it back about 10 years ago ha ha. no i do not work for united - i work for a company that is is "BPO" ( business process outsourcing). we do work for many companies here and in Hyderabad too. Did you see the link i sent that shows Gulmarg?

  3. Rajeev..what fun things are there to do in Mumbai???

mumbai (it was once called bombay) is a big city and very crowded - much more so than american cities. most of the time i have to work because of the time difference (11 hours i think) between mumbai and the eastern america. so i answer customer service calls all night and sleep all day. sometimes i can find the internet and that's when i write to friends all over the world. we have good music and good bars, and good restaurants, although most restaurants not as good as american. goat is actually very very good if prepared properly. the universities are very good and i already told you about Chowpatty beach.

there is more to do in america and i miss riding my snoboard.

  4. That sounds yummy...I prefer Chocolate Salty Balls myself..I once fit 4 of them in my mouth at the same time.. :o

we eat goat because we are not to eat meat from cows - (many of us are Hindu). It is very very good - you can make it like hamberger and yes yes it would taste the same. mr steez i will ride with you on my next holiday in america. mr toast sounds like he is from pakistan.

  5. Rajeev...you're too much :D The kickball game was mad steezy..lots of large men in tight outfits ran around a grassy field...while smaller men and women sat in the seats and drank fermented malt beverages and ate fried protein and starch...As far as I know Jack Frost does not accept Rupees but I think Big Boulder does. I plan on visit to the Chowpatty Beach for some fun in the sun..but I need somebody to apply SPF 45 over my back. Do you know such person in Mumbai that can help...possibly a curry and rice girl..or Cricket groupie.. :)

no no Mr Steez - they are drinking beer - we actually do drink beer in india. and this fried protein is hamburger - yes? we do not eat that kind of meat. at least we are not supposed to anyway. And they change your Rupees to dollars to by things in america. Chowpatty beach is good but to crowded - i would be happy to show you there. The girls do not wear bathing attire like in america so it does not look as good.

  6. I'm stoked about the college pass + 4 free passes, my friends are so damn broke I end up riding alone a lot so that will be great. I don't know how much I will be getting up to JFBB next year because I may be away for the winter but I could break even on it just going early/late season easily.

more hello and greetings to all my american friends! i am saving my rupees so that i can come to jack frost next year again. how does this college pass work? can any people tell me about the big american kickball game that was yesterday. i have met some american friends boston and they say they are not too too happy.

  7. What it is Rajeev??? Yeah man so far this season I've visited 9 different hill stations not bad for being a Blue whore. I'm thinking of visiting Mumbai some time soon...would you show me around??? I heard there are lots of good rails in Mumbai for an impromptu urban session...mad steezy yo. Did you know the Beach Boys origionally wanted the song California girls to be Mumbai girls...wow maybe I'll find a curry and rice girl,,,lmfao...

I need to teach the race team kids smartstyle..

i don't know this blue whore and i have heard of california girls. yes, i will gladly show you around mumbai - it is hot and crowded but it is getting better. It was once called bombay. i must work tomorrow

  8. Wait BEar Creek has a race team???? Is this the thing AJ Kitt is a part of???? I thought there was a clear rule that lessons are not allowed in the terrain park???? Maybe that's at Blue..all I know is that Park Rats have a sense of entitlement and racer kids are fruity..

mr steezman you are here too! how are you today? how do you know of all these hill stations? it is so hot in mumbai and i miss my board and snow. you should come visit here and see Haji's tomb.

  9. And definitely check out their park, Raj :)

yes yes, i will try the park at bear creek. I do not jump so good and this was only the second time to america for a ski holiday. how about snow mountain - is this good too? Now that i am home in mumbai, it is too hot. the only ski we have is in Gulmarg near pakistan but that is many many kilometers from here. and it is dangerous too - if you are not careful they will shoot at the gondola. jack frost was very good for me and blue mountain is very big

  10. I was told by one of the park crew kids up at BB that season passes go on sale in February and if you buy it then you get a special price, its good for the rest of the year and you get 50 food bucks and the 2 free passes... Does anyone know the reduced price of the passes if there is one???

so how are all my american friends? i must come back so i can ride at this hill station again

  11. ok. what is with the race team being in the parks in the early morning? i go to bear creek early so i can get some good riding in b4 the crowds fully get there then i see about 30 3 yr. olds weaving through the park in a train behind a race instructer. whats with this?? they close timberline for a reason dont they? then i see the race team not even on it their cutting us off in the park. we dont go over there and go on timberline when its closed off for racing so why do they come and weave though the park??

the next time i come to america, i will ride my bord at bear creek too. i heard that this hill station not too big but it is good. i did go to jack frost and to blue mountain on my visit and it was much fun. tell me about bear creek

  12. Yes, I am now back in Mumbai and thank you all for a very very nice holiday in america. It is much too hot here so now i will put my board away. I did go to Jack Frost one more time on Sunday and it was very cold. Everybody was very good to me at this hill station - the lift people, the snow patrol, and even the people that sell the tickets! i will put wax on my board and think about coming to america next year. now it is late so i must sleep - i think it is 11 hours later here

  13. Not to mention is is probably cheaper to come here than to go to Dubai

It is much cheaper to come here - the dollar has been devalued against the rupee many times now. Also, I have a place to stay here with family. I have heard of this indoor hill station in Dubai and it is probably very small and costs too much. my american friends have been good to me and i will try skiing too. you should visit me in Mumbai

  14. Cool Rajeev...I think it's cool that companies outsource their customer service jobs to India because most Americans don't want to do those jobs and the labor is way way way cheaper over there.

The Curry and Rice thing reminds me of one of my favorite Youtube videos. Based off the Gwen Stafani song..Hollaback Girl..lol...

Enjoy the rest of your time in the Poconos... :wiggle

yes and thank you very very much. this is something i can do only once each year. i have learned much about snowboards and skiing and the american people and will tell many in Mumbai about Jack Frost and Blue Mountain.

  15. I actually saw his uncle Apu the other day at the Kwik E Mart.. :banghead

So much about nothing. First, I do not think any of you are racist. My English is good because many American companies have cust service telephones answered in India. That is what I do. These jobs offer much pay when compared to what else is available however, the hours are long and one can burn out as americans like to call it. I will be here for one more week before going back to Mumbai. Rice and Curry - that is a good joke because that is what everyone seems to think we eat - although my mum does put much curry on everything! I missed this WMMR day but I was at Jack Frost yesterday. The races were very good to watch - so many go so fast. You sound like very nice people.

  16. My bad it means..Post of the Day..ahahahahahahaha..I learned something today..

New Yorker, across from Chowpatty Beach, has good pizza and baked potatoes too. yes that is the real name!! It has American-tasting cheese. It is the best place in town for Western food. Also, Sukhsagar has good idlis and juice too!

It is raining so I stayed in the house today. I will go to Jack Frost Mountain tomorrow and go to the park and Floyds Fooly. Who will meet me?

  17. too bad the closest ski resort to mumbai is 1422 kilometers!

whoever this is stop trying to be a friggin indian who comes to the poconos every year and somehow knows english

    SHOW YAH FACE

you should know that the best ski in India is Gulmarg where they have a good hill station- it is very far away near Kashmir - there is no ski in Mumbai it is too hot!! In India most of us speak very good english (we were part of the British Colonial Empire at one time). I have only been to Gulmarg 1 time so when I visit family here in the America, I ride my board. this is only my twice time in America - just started last year..... i need to speak good good english for my job - I am a customer service prof in mumbai. my family has a shop for donuts in a place called tobeyhanna so i visit and ski much.

If it does not rain i wil be at floyds fooly for this WMMR day - i will meet you - yes?

  18. Everything was ice, first thing in the morning :banghead , but started to losten up as the day went along. They didn't groom the trails, except for the park. I'm assuming that was to conserve snow. There was also a huge temp inversion of about 10 degrees, about midway down.

This looks so good and it is good to be back here for holiday!! In India one can use a snowboard at Gulmarg - which is in Kashmir and Jammu. there is now a new cable car that takes you to 3,747 meters (about 13,000 of your feet) you can ski there at Kongdoori mountain and Afarwat Peak. i like your pictures of floyds fooly but it looks not so steep. i will be there for the WMMR and if it rains too much, than Saturday

  19. OMG I don't know if PASR gets aliases (sp?) but this guy is awsome !!! Seriously where is the finger mustache emoticon around here ? This is clearly POTD worthy.

thank you thank you i don't know what you mean by POTD however we don't have any in Mumbai. I must see this WMMR and bring my board too. chowpatty beach is very very much crowded and i think that the park will be crowded too - but that is good. will all the snow melt?
