  1. Condtions today: awesome park set-up in cascade, most fun Ive had all season. Snow was super Slow though. I advise a trip up before the season ends! Don't forget Season Pass Appreciation day is coming up...check www.bcmountainresort.com for more info.

  2. Yeah man, I've seen some of those scrubs ride park and IMO; You're better off riding with people from here or some friends from schoo instead of paying somebody to tell you "more speed" "land better"...as far as progressing bears family park is pretty well sized for learning, you should stay here...also enjoy a delicious handcrafted pizza in the trails end caf

  3. yeah really haha its setup horrible. not enough speed to make the hugeee low but far gap. it was 10000 better setup with a jump lander. lots of stuff is setup awkwardly prolly will go back to normal once the huge melt happens next week.

I have zero trouble clearing the cannon, I think it's fun like this. Everything is set-up pretty clutch IMO. Quit bitching and just shred. /rant

  4. I have never had a problem with the attendants, but as an employee they always let us try and find a spot in the lower stones.

Bumps are not a problem as I have a jacked truck.

I have been triple row parked in at bear creek a few seasons ago, waited at my car for about an hour and a half before I was able to get out.

On the other hand I have been totaled at blue mountain by a lifty doing donuts and sliding out of control. That'll ruin your drive up to the mountain trust me.

they care even more about employees

  5. so its too much of a liability for bear to have a contest where the participants sign waivers but they're lot attendants can jump out in front of cars? :confused

tell me about it, i shouldnt have to dodge sarah connor to park my car.

  6. ^Completely agree, ive brought this up before

also, busiest week of the year and no one rakes the freshly blown snow off the last one in tubing? What a joke. I haven't seen park crew touch those jumps and I have been there every day for the past 2 weeks, are they not allowed of can you not see them from the yurt?

EDIT: MODS WHEN USING MY IPHONE AND PRESSING REPLY, MY COMMENT ALWAYS GETS GROUPED IN WITH THE QUOTE. #BUG?

That's a lie, you talked to me yesterday from A chair as I was taking that "second" lip bump off the second jump In tubing. Today the snow was too wet to rake off but we did try around noon and ended up making it almost worse by leaving huge holes from stepping in it and not being able to fix them, regardless I'll make it pretty for you tomorrow

Otherwise, thanks for the new set up it was a lot of fun

  7. im thinking they need to conserve water, its pretty much a problem every year for bear. they only have ponds to draw from where as most mountains have a river or large lake to get their water from. if they pounded the entire mountain every night im pretty sure they would run out fairly quickly. I dont know this for sure but im thinking thats what is holding them back

This, sorry if this is in a quote

    This

  8. haha your just making a fool out of yourself bro, ill vouch for him hes way legit and knows exactly what hes talking about. Ill 2nd the bullshit four inch "urban" setups with a gap onto them too, let the rail overhang the lip and make it worth jumping up onto, bear is the only mountain i have ever seen set stuff up that way.

Perfect example of constructive criticism. Thank you.

oh and i understand its early season and blah blah but 4 hits on a top to bottom run through blackbear or even cascade if your wanna hit the tubing jumps?..they definetly have enough snow to throw two or 3 more rails down.

but hey im not gonna complain too much the resort has been open for a week. my only suggestions at this point are change the way some of the rails are set up (mainly the arbor down flat and the rail next to the candycane) and throw a few more rails down to keep everyone happy for the time being. Otherwise so far so good, looking forward to seeing what can be done with some more snow.
