pond skimming is by ar 1 of the greatest events. i was at vail closing week last year and their pond skimming had a jump into the pond. it was epic. cant wait

yea its definately under 50 b/c early january it was 51ft from lip to knuckle and like 80ft lip to bottom of the landing its way smaller than that now.

I had a solid run set up too and at the last minute a couple kids on my team told me to just go for it so i did. not the best idea i had yesterday

i was there. i was the only dumbass that attempled the stairset handrail in the 18+ age group and got f*#&$ up. anywho i left with a sweet neon shirt and a lump on my ass the size of softball and a gash on my fore arm. all in all a good solid day every day you walk to ur car is a good day.

They were diggin out rails on blackbear at around 9 b4 i left last night if that helps any

The key to a good backflip is you just need to have the balls and fully committ. I was about 14 or 15 when i landed my first 1 and b4 i landed 1, i landed on my stomach a couple times and on my head. Look for a jump with a really lippy takeoff and about a 15 ft gap (that is necessary for your first time). most jumps are built for spinning and have a more mellow takeoff. I was up at bear this past week and the two jumps at the bottom of black bear right next to the up rail would be your best bet for ur first flip. If ur regular stance, just committ and throw ur right shoulder down and your left shoulder up really hard. If you have the opportunity try it on a trampoline to get comfortable with the rotation. Its not a hard trick it just takes balls. Wear a helmet and goodluck.

I think the lip to the bleacher ( i think its the bleacher nxt to the flat box midway down black bear) should be lower than the first flat box instead of having the lip above the first flat box and below the top box. As is, most people are just hitting the top box like a straight box. Or maby the whole thing might be better if it was turned uphill.

Quebec is 19 and i am 19 but they seriously serve 12 year olds up there. Canada can get icy but it can also be real nice mid season its a hit or miss it can also be blistering cold

i dont kno about a trip to canada wit school but during break me n some friends r headin up to canada mainly to drink with some snowboardin on the side. its gonna be good times

I live on campus n its crazy fun but ill have my car down there in the winter so i can drive to bear like 2 or 3 times a week

Im a temple student but i havent joined the snowboard club yet
