  1. Not known around here but I will be there in the morning and probably till like 5 since I get in as much as I can when i can get up to the mountains.

Black pants, dark green Special Blend jacket, orange giro helm.

  2. That was keith. I had an all green jacket on with brown pants.

Oh ok yeah I talked to keith for a little bit, my two girl friends were mad at first cause he kept calling them bitches, but i talked to them today and i guess they met up with him later on and thought he was cool. He ran into me and two of my friends before I saw you guys and was like what do you want to to see so he threw down a stalefish 3. Wish I lived up there so i could go more often and progress more (and not be such a pussy sometimes).

  3. Haha worrd.

Yeah Sean is pretty sick, we watched you guys hit the second jump after that and idk what all the tricks but it looked like sean threw a BS rodeo and you follow him with a 3 or a 5. First time (only been 4 times) I have seen people throw bigger stuff than like 1's or some grabs off of jumps in person, a lot sweeter than seeing it in vids.

I was in the Green SB jacket and brown hat if you remember.

  4. If your friends with sean jordan ask him about how me and him almost killed someone at midnight madness in the same situation. I was following him into the jump and there was a kid RIGHT on the knuckle. All i hear is OHH F**K from sean and I look down and there is a kid right where we were landing. We were literally inches from hitting the kid.

You were riding with sean around at midnight madness? I was with the three guys who met up with you guys after the first jump on LOVE when those two girls were with you guys.

    edit: meant to quote librider

  5. I don't do parks. The jumps look like they are a decent size. It also doesn't look too cluttered up with stuff.

Ok thanks. Yeah I just started trying the jumps and some of the ones at blue were a good size but than BB's are a good size bigger than the ones I think I can do.

  6. How do you think the crowds will be at JFBB this weekend? Specifically Sunday?

I went to BB over MLK holiday and the lift lines were like a min during the day and almost none once it got past like 5. Was just wondering if it was just because it was BB or if JF will be more crowded than BB.

  7. there are two nice and easy boxes in there. a loooong flat box and a small flat-down box. if you can do stuff in come around you could probably do stuff on those in the park. remember smart style haha.

Yeah I can only like 50/50 and boardslide the rails. I haven't really tried jumps. I was more hesitant of the jumps than the rail but its the other way around for my friends.

Yeah definitely brush up on Smartstyle...I'm jealous..a school ski trip on a weekday during the daytime..sa weet..you'll have the mountain to yourself...bring an umbrella though..

Yeah I was pretty siked when I heard about it. I have all the waterproof stuff necessary, not sure some of the other people know what to expect. Most of the girls are more worried about how there gonna look than not being wet from when i suggested what they should wear.

  8. thats the thing to do, but there are always places you can hide your stuff too if the lockers are all used. i'll be there tomorrow morning as well if the weather is decent. i'll either be in the park most of the time. its gonna be a hot one.

Yeah, the teacher in charge said we are going even though it looks kinda crappy. Probably be miserable for people who are learning. I will probably be riding with a couple of my friends. Probably hit up come around and the other lower level park to progress, don't think I am ready for sidewinder.

  9. They only do in the rental shop for shoes..and you still might get your light-up heelies jacked..suck it up and bring some quarters for a locker or do what 99 percent of the Blue skiers/riders do and use you car as a locker. With no hotel/condos at the base..you park 100 yards from the snow...max...When are you going to Blue??

I would normally use my car but I am going up on a school trip so we are going up on a bus which we will not be able to access during the day. Probably just do what toast said. We should be there tomorrow around nine and are staying till like 4. Only like 10 people of the 40-45 going can actually ski/board.

  10. Sorry for the questions but I didn't want to make a new thread for it. I have never been to blue and was just wondering if they have the shelves/cubby hole things where you can just put your bags instead of using the lockers?

  11. The base at Blue is solid enough to last through a couple of warm/rainy spells. Things should be fine and crowds will probably be less than normal..rain sucks but if it's in the 50s...at least it's comfortable to ski in...I'll be there..

Ok thanks. Yeah I don't get to up often so no matter the conditions I take every chance I get to go up. At least with the warmth and rain it won't be the icey like its been the past few trips I took to BB, right?

  12. I was just looking for an opinion on whether or not you guys that ski blue often think that the warm weather and rain in the forecast are gonna ruin conditions at blue? We are having a school trip up there Weds and the weather seems to be calling for 50+ tues and weds along with rain. Was just trying to figure it out if it would be worth it to bring up rescheduling the trip for like thurs or if wont be worth the hassle.

  13. Last year they closed down between 8 and 9 and re-groomed.

Yeah, I figured I would just go somewhere and grab something to eat during that time.

I will be there in a green special blend jacket, black pants, brown element beanie, but im a noob so I will be riding a rental.

  14. theres a midnight session this sunday?

i have a hockey game sunday night so i'm heading up to my house afterwards and if i'm there in time i might do the midnight

Yeah the site has 1/20/08 9pm-3am listed on Midnight Madness, I'm assuming its BB. Anyone know what the midnight sessions are normally like?

  15. You need to protect your eyes from the wind and the sun...The suns reflection off the snow is so intense. You can pick up a cheap pair of goggles for 25 bucks or a really good pair for 50-150 bucks. It's important. If you do alot of night skiing, don't get a lense that's too dark..

Yeah thats why I was wondering if persimmons would be too dark for when it gets dark even with the lights on because most of my boarding will be when its darker cause I can't get up to the mountain till later in the day when i go up.

  16. Would you say goggles are worth it even though I only get up to the mountains maybe once a month during the season? And if so any comments on the Spy Targa 2 persimmons lense and how do you thing the lens would do when it gets dark?

    Thanks for any help.
