Good Form

Good Form (4/10)

  1. The 20th is their scheduled closing date
  2. They even have a link to PASR on the banner. That's pretty BA.
  3. I didn't even think the tickets were good for boulder too
  4. Yeah what phillycore said. There are quite a few level 3 instructors and they will set you up with someone they feel is capable of teaching an advanced lesson and that instructor will be more than happy to not be teaching a beginner lesson haha.
  5. That's awesome man. See ya at work in a couple weeks then!
  6. Yeah I did ITC last year and we have the problem that all the skiers want to come to frost and all the snowboarders want to go to big boulder. I prefer frost over boulder cause you never have to worry about working nights, your shift will always be 8-4.
  7. Yeah they never opened east mountain. They were grooming and running the lift but apparently the groomer started sliding going down one of the headwalls and messed up the snow.
  8. Smaller flakes here near big boulder. Been sticking to everything since about 9am.
  9. Yeah they cleared at the one park glade top to bottom and they also cleared out glades on the west side of the mountains to make some glades for novice and beginner skiers.
  10. Says you have to be 19+ to buy the college pass and is $100 dollars really worth being able to ski an extra hour in the morning, especially to a college student. Free lift tickets to jay peak seems awesome but is there a reason there is a million asterisks next to it?
  11. My roommate is actually training to work there and one of the guys in charge came to my class to talk to us about what they are doing and employment. From what I have heard they will have mountain segway tours, ropes courses, a climbing wall and I think a few other things I can't think of right now. The ropes courses will have different levels of difficulty like ski trails and I think the climbing wall is mainly meant for kids. I am pretty sure when it first opens that it will only be on weekends and like mid Juneish it will start opening 7 days a week till around labor day.
  12. http://www.jfbb.com/news/2010/03/12/big-boulder-closed Frost will still be open 3/12, 3/13 and weather permitting on 3/14.
  13. Yeah, idk the people in guest services called the whole free ticket with a season pass to another mountain thing "Alien Invasion". Yeah atomic is right I went in showed them my JFBB pass and they gave me a free ticket + a camelcard and I tried asking them about it and they just kept telling me about the camelcard discounts.
  14. What is the deal with the alien invasion this year? I went today and they gave me a comp pass for having a JFBB season pass but they also gave me a camel card but the ladies working in guest services did not seem to know much about it. This year do they just give you a free camelcard then you have to use that and just get the discount from the camel card, instead of getting a free pass everytime?
