  1. have fun on scholastic challenge on tv 13 buddy

    go cry

    Sholastic scrimmage........scrimmage

    Your kidding right?

Every other comment before mine was "awesome vid", "sick vid" , "good job guy". I was the only guy to say anything outside of that and what do you do but shoot me down saying im a dick and shit and cant speak what i think. if

For the record, i liked the edit. lib's edits are always good times. They're about the real values of snowboarding...having fun with your friends and not giving a fuck if you miss a few degrees of rotation, or catch an edge buttering.

    yeahhhh dennis :rock

  2. Anyone.....Anyone.....Bueller.....Bueller

I just picked up a set of Salomon relay pros..... i love them. I'd definitely reccomend them along with salomon boots, which i also have- they use the fusion liner, so your size 15 boot would have the footprint of a 14...or whatever it is.

  3. So lately I've been thinking about giving boarding a try. Something a little different and who knows, may get me out to the mountain more often

I've never snowboarded at the mountain before, only in my backyard and on a cheap plastic snowboard. I just don't know what to look for in a board. I'm not too keen on renting stuff to try it, because I know I'm not going to hate it and will want to keep doing it even if I alternate between skiing.

I know I'm going to want to get a leash, and maybe wrist guards (I want to hear your opinions on them). Also what size board would you recommend for someone starting out and is 5' 10" and weighs 150 +/- pounds? I want strap bindings, not clicker ones. Is there something I should look for in bindings?

Any info will be greatly appreciated. Not sure if I'm going to pull the trigger on it, but am certainly giving it some thought.

Leashes aren't even required at most mountains anymore . They're honestly not necessary, and no one really uses them anymore.

for good deals on a setup, go to the house www.the-house.com they have a lot of good deals for decent equipment...

i highly recommend wristguards. i have gloves with a pull out liner (lighter gloves). i put the liner on, then the wristguards, and then the gloves. it works well.

Personaly, i wore wristguards for a year and a half, and they do more harm than good. Any small fall on your wrists, and you feel it 10x harder than you should have. Not totally uncomfortable if you're really paranoid, but i'm staying away...

  4. they arent blowing. it would be nice if they were. stupid weather. get colder damn it.

***scratch that... holy shit look at their webcam now. they actually are blowing. probably just testing the guns.

I'm not convinced. Every webcam shot i see is the webcam pointed towards a light towards the road with fog. Unless you guys are seeing something different?

  5. As far as blowing snow goes, they're not planning on it for around 2 weeks. Hopefully, this cold spell will come in sooner and they can get some pow down. In any case, i'd say there's a definite possibility for them to open the 1st. :wiggle

  6. 4 feet wide?!? are you kidding me?! that is terrible. i hate to criticize everything that Blue does... but once they stop making stupid shit and building RAILS INSTEAD OF GIANT-ASS BOXES the criticism will most likely stop.

as for the 'curved rails'.... i think that is the scariest part. haha. but it could potentially be good. crackerbarrel part 2? i think we saw that last year with the 's'-box thing that failed... how about crackerbarrel part 3.

it'll be a lot of fun. But not for sidewinder. As far as the "curved rails"....who knows what's next?

I think they should lift the blade of that dozer and setit up like a wall ride...

i think they should move the dozer......anywhere but in the park

Round coping should be put into the plans more at blue. it's been said before, and for good reasons. Look at all of the craziest parks around/far. Where's their square coping?

  7. On the way out, we crossed paths with 2 dudes from snowgrind. I was talking to the one guy for a minute or so. They were headed in to work on some more rails. They said they finished the rollercoaster box. 50 feet long and 4 feet wide.....sweeeet He said they were going to work on some more "curved rails, but not like a c or s rail"......that scared me. Crackerbarrel part II coming up....

  8. Damn dude why didn't you say something. I was there, with Jeff. And yes i thought the film was good overall. I wish Jonavene Moore and Shin Campos had longer parts since those two dudes can rip like no other but it's all good.

It was a last minute decision. Atomic jeff? I'm surprised i didn't see him

  9. Movie premiere was pretty good tonight. Child support is a solid, well put together film- i liked it alot. They also played (thinkthank?) beforehand. They raffled off some goodie bags and a jersey and some copies of the movie, and threw out tons of stickers. My laptop is covered now....i'm satisfied.

  10. While that's cool and all.. why? I think having a bulldozer under a box is cool and all, but it limits setup options. As far as a huge box like that going into sidewinder....not really stoked on it. Nice, simple rails are what gets the parks hopping. People don't get stoked on doing tricks on rails/boxes because of what they are. If people want to get excited, they're gonna get excited by having practical jibs you can progress on. Like the swingset- You can go over it- yippee! As far as progression, there's not much more you can do. Not to say people don't find a way to do crazy shit on the circus rails, but there's a point when a park gets to have more "show" than "go". I'd personally like to see more "go." this year. ...not to say there won't be any go. Every year it seems like we take a few steps foward with a few nice jibs, but we take another backwards with crazy shit.

  11. I'm looking into new bindings, and i'm pretty set on the salomon relays. Anyone have opinons on these? Anyone use them? Anyone know the major differences between relayseries, xlt, and pro?
