  1. Sounds good see you on the hill.....hopefully sooner than later
  2. What is so pointless about the statement try their hardest to open. If they are having the money issues that people are claiming they need to try their hardest to get the cash flow to make snow. Making snow is not cheap. I can't even imagine the electric bill alone. Not to mention labor costs and the chemicals they use to make the snow. I believe it is called snow max. So to try their hardest makes alot of sense. No Money = No Snow. It is simple economics. To make itclear I really like the mountain and want to see them make it. I am by no means looking for them to fail. Just so there is no misunderstanding there.
  3. I never stated they are not opening. I stated that they need to try their hardest or they will be in big trouble
  4. I would think that if there are having cash problems that bad they would do everthing they can to open to get some cash flowing in. If they dont open this year then where will they get the money to ever open. They could try to seek out investors, but who would want to invest in a place that had to stay closed for a season. Thats just my opinion. I really don't know what the deal is up there execpt for what has been printed in the papers in the past.
  5. I think to put the water park on the back burner would be crazy. That is where they will eventually make their money.

Buzz BY BORYS KRAWCZENIUK STAFF WRITER Published: Thursday, June 26, 2008 Updated: Thursday, June 26, 2008 1:00 AM EDT The operator of the former Montage Ski Resort that has struggled to add a water park there has been sued three times for unpaid bills since November and faces a recently filed sewer lien, according to Lackawanna County and federal court records. The total owed by Sno Mountain LLC, according to suits and the lien, is more than $175,000. But the suits also show a local ski supplier that sued was paid, and another suit by a wristband supplier was settled for a smaller amount. A suit by a local advertising agency and a Scranton Sewer Authority lien remain unresolved. Meanwhile, the water park, known as Sno Cove, was originally scheduled to open last July. Company officials blamed construction complications and delays in receiving state funding for the delay. Company officials said Wednesday they still don
