  1. The last few weekends at blue medivac was there. I think the one day when I was there the chopper showed up four times!

Does camelback have a landing pad like Blue does? Blue has that nice fenced off pad with the big H on it, pretty cool, yea, the MedEvac (the proper name) flys in there often

I never saw one at camelback and I never saw one land there either but yeah I know that blue has one down by the valley lodge next to the one school hill. The one time I was in line for the quad and all the dirt from the driveway blew everywhere from the choppers blades and everyone was covered in dirt.

  2. Is camelback snowmaking shut down for the year?  is this the snow we'll be skiing on till march?  blue's been continously building stockpiles in every nook and cranny they have (ask thinksnow, they have some 20 foot + piles to the left of the quad) and theyve been blowin on trails, and make the bumps soft as ever, why isnt camelback makin that base deeper?  (at this time last year, didnt they crack the 100inch barrier?) they're only down aorund 50 or so

My uncle is a snowmaker up at blue and they have been blowin snow day and night and like you menchined off to the left of the quad they have blown snow in deep piles. I have only one quess why camelback stopped making snow and that is camelbeach.

  3. Well I would say sunday....Just because I really gotta focus on Sat (and sunday) becasue right now I am 2 away from getting in to the PA finals...So I gotta I guess just ski fast...and if I know no one is watching I bet i'll do better.  Anyway I would love to meet up after my race.

So you get nervous when you race skidude? Well in that case I'll be there even if I have to walk there :nana

  4. In todays paper they had a nice big write up about how many skis and snowboards were taken from blue mountain and camelback. Over $10,000 intotal value this season at blue I think it said and $2,000 of equipment since monday alone.

always lock your dam equitment, whether your going in for 1 minute or 1 hour, always lock your stuff.

I know really go out and buy a ski tote or a lock. Whats $15 if your $600 equipment gets stolen. All of those that were stolen at blue werent even locked.

  6. i would like to hear davej's input. although i would be quite irritated if K got in on it.

This sounds about right. I think K will lurk but not post anything. We might get a post out of J once in a while.

Yeah I want to find out more about medivac.

  7. This gives me a brilliant idea  We will run this like the show on mtv "punkd" I know someone who works for the blue mountain ski patrol give me a description of atomic and ill have him pulled over and then i wanna see him sing and dance tryin to get his pass back.

  8. Yes. I met her. It is highly likely that she was a MILF in 1972. She's been making the conditions report for almost 30 years.

There was no internet when I was in high school. We called that number about 500 times each season and it absolutely freaked me out to meet her. Kind of like meeting the "You've got mail" AOL guy, I guess.

I'd be feelin the same way.

  9. Yeah ok im bored and all so I will try to act like that lady on the toll free ski report "You have reached Camelback ski area...

Ever met her? She's one of the secretaries in the new office building. I bet she was really hot back in 1972.

No I never met her did you ever meet her at all? she sounds old on the phone

  10. The base is 30"-54" with a machine groomed packed powder surface. We have all 33 trails and all 13 chairlifts scheduled to be in operations for saturday. Please note that the laurel glade terrain park and our half pipe will be open on Saturday. Our snowtubing park will operate with 9 runs and 4 cable tows. And don't forget that NASTAR racing will begin this weekend on Pocono Raceway from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Thank you very much for your intrest in camelback we'll see you soon here on the mountain." lol

  11. bear creek's quad looks almost brand new and yet it's not a high speed quad... retarded. spend more time on the lift going up the mountain the coming down their noobie slopes... though the terrain park was nice...

They just put it in this season and it takes about 15 min. to get up the hill on it.
