    I don't give a fuck anymore actually..  I only supported Hunter after everyone was accusing Hunter of being negligent in the skier deaths this year..

    Even the people I thought were cool once are now total dicks..
    I step away from the "ski crowd" more and more each year..   Bunch of entitled douchenozzles...

    Half the fucking board is infatuated with a guy that skis fast and known as "blueboy"..   
    Half the board sucks at skiing and can't stay out of the way or people and bitches about terrain they can't handle...

    I only jump on occasionally..

    I'm hoping for legalization in NY soon..
    they are doing it right I think...   Legislation instead of voting..   Lot's of states weren't ready for legalization and it took a while to get it all up and running because they had to create laws after the voting.   NY is going to take care of that up front including expunging records of people who had been busted...

    Split up with my Ex... She got the AFrame - I got the Farmhouse on the creek that we were selling..   It's close to the new Northside parking area...
    I'd rather not be on Colonels Chair - the houses are too close.   Why live in the hills if you got a neighbor staring at you.. haha

    Since my friends started running Camelback I've been interested in the Poconos again.
    Also my nephew and niece ride Blue a lot..    

    And I'm still schilling for Hunter.   My house has increased in value since the new terrain was built and people are actually driving through the village.
    Thinking of some business opportunities so I can quit the corporate world and start my next phase in life.

    I love the new terrain..  It's 2 minutes from my house so it's a game changer.   Can slip out for lunch and make turns which is awesome.
    I rode it a ton last winter.  Hardly anybody there when the front face has a crowd..

    Is it a little about intermediate?  Maybe..
    But I like it...   

    Sucks people died.  I know the patroller that was attending on all of them.  Sucks for him too..

    I've skied the dome in Dubai.. It's pretty boring and larger then Xanadu is supposed to be.. If i could drink - it would've been better.. But it's tough to drink in an Islamic country..

    Save some cash for expensive beer at the bar..

     

    I fucking love it.....if I do get up there I hope I run into you.....a sense of humor is relatively rare these days

    I may break my asshole rule and go to hunter....its been a few years maybe all the dbags are hanging out at windham now.

     

    Check it...

     

    All the assholes got STDs and are grown up with families. They all go to Windham and Belleayre now because they their wives don't like tough terrain and they raise their kids like a veal.

     

    Come and see for yourself.. I won't say there's no assholes... Cause there's assholes everywhere and NY assholes are a bit louder then most assholes.. But you probably already know that cause of all the NY and Jerze that goes to the Pocs...

     

    We do rely on tourism.. Been good lately. Between skier visits and summers festivals..

    Yeah I'll let DMC about this thread backchannel so he can blast Johnny Law for being ignorant. Anyway wasn't season passholder day at Hunter always free?

     

    Not ignorant... just misinformed..

     

    Hunter has the best steeps south of Vermont. Johnny law they have been filming a jersey shore style reality show at Hunter. A shame you are married or you could meet that special guidette.

     

    1 friggin guido bar left in town and they gotta film a show... :)

     

    A friend of mine on Ski Patrol may get a part.. Should be interesting.. GSS - Come up and get on camera...

     

    Anyone going to Hunter on March 27th who is a season passholder gets to ski for $25.

     

     

    COme up the wek before and check out my band in the lodge... we suck...

    If they man up, completely refurbish it, and place it as a high speed, that would be great for traffic and uphill capacity... Still planning that for next year?

     

    yes - it's planned for next summer... The lift is sitting over there ready to go..

    It's supposed to replace both the Z and Y chairs

    The Kaaterskill Flyer is pretty sweet though... I still don't understand making the old high speed a fixed grip and replacing the West Quad... Know anything about that DMC?

     

    I hear it's going to be detachable now.. They wanted to make it fixed grip to avoid issues but I guess they backed down.

    there is now quad on the west side currently - just 2 double chairs - this is supposed to replace both.

     

    You gonna attend the bailout Belleayre event this weekend? Tickets are only $1,000..

    Some places through no fault of their own just attract d-bags, Old City used to be cool but now every wanna be Snooki takes Patco over and just generally fucks the place up.

     

    Huntah is alot like Old City.

    Thanks DMC...good article. $1million operating loss? I'm sure state lawmakers know how to tighten up the budget realllll quick.

     

    thing is - that doesn't even include payroll, benefits and insurance and all the other stuff Belleayre doesn't pay for because they are State run..

     

    they squandered our(NY) $$$$$$ all on their own...

    BTW: Bellayre is totally the tits. What are your personal pros and cons of the mountain closing in your opinion?
