  1. Camelback - my loyalty has been reborn!
  2. Camelback has gone a long way to make this customer much happier. I can now ski on Saturday and feel good about my season pass purchase! Thank you Ashleigh this goes a long way! "Dear David, Thank you for taking the time to write to us with your concerns regarding the different types of season passes and how they are able to be used prior to the start of night skiing. I understand your concerns, and I am happy to let you know that all season passes will be honored on Saturday December 8, 2007, regardless of the normal restrictions. We are opening for night skiing on Friday December 14, 2007. Beginning that day, Nights Only passes may only be used from 4-10pm, and regular restrictions will apply for Sun-Fri & Nights passes. I hope that this relieves your disappointment with our early season pass policy for passholders and that you have a great time on the mountain tomorrow on Opening Day! If you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us at 570.629.1661. Thanks again and have a great season! Ashleigh Shunk"

  4. All good points - i'll shut up
  5. You are missing the point - i am not pissed because someone else gets to ski; i am pissed because I dont get to ski. If the unlimited pass holders are going to be mad that i get to ski then why would they not be mad if Night pass holders get to ski? If i have to accept the terms of my pass then why do Nite skiiers not have to accept their terms?
  6. Me too - i should have listened to you last year!
  7. I wanted to take the time out to express my sincere disappointment with your early season policy for season pass holders. You have offered 3 types of passes in three tiers and each are priced differently based on the days available to the pass holders. The first type of pass is the unlimited pass
  8. to answer your question yes Friday night is available to me with a Sunday - Friday pass. no matter what this is not fine. I am sick of defending this mountain. I put up with this crap and defend them on this board and elseware and the pay off this. I paid more and i get to ski less. Night skiers get to ski 7 days a week i get 6 this sucks!
  9. Great way to start the year off on the "right" foot. Those of us who paid the extra money for a Sunday - Friday pass dont get to ski this Saturday but those that paid only for night skiing do get to ski 7 Days a week open to close . Great way to start the year off with a pissed off customer!
  10. hold on - yeah it is great they have snow but full price for two runs? it is much easier to cover when there are fewer surfaces to cover. in additions they do not have to cover any connecting trails in order to open which means you are far less spread out. "more firepower per acre" can be achieved two ways more firepower or less acres. In this case both are true. I think because the other mountains don't have the same climate conditions they don't bother with the investment. i am not sure that more firepower would help - location, location, location. that is why it is not closer because closer = less snow. BBJF is smart for making the investment in the "firepower" (i prefer the term snow-power) because their locations gives them the best chance to make the most of it. however their locations also limits the available terrain. Ahhh always a trade off in life!
  11. Are any of the PA mountains open yet?
  12. I took the day off from work so that i could spend it skiing. It was fantastic! The snow got mushy as the day went on but having the sunshine on my face and the snow under my skis was great. to me this is the best way to celebrate getting older.
  13. correct! I like to get up there early on Sunday and leave before the the crowd gets out of control. You can get a lot of sking in if you do it right.
  14. I can't disagree more with Chippy. I was there there this morning and i felt the snow was in great shape. Note however that i did stay on the Nile side of the mountain so i can not comment on the front four. It is true that it is always disappointing when the raceway is closed because it is such a fun trail. Cliffhanger was in fantastic shape. I must say that when Cliffhanger is in good shape it is my favorite trail in the Poconos.
