Ok so even though I would like to ski as early as possible I think the new owner/snow making crew are going in the right direction. If you remember past years they opened up with like 5 trails. Well with these 5 trails handling all of the traffic conditions got pretty crappy very quick. So by opening up with, lets say 15 trails, the skier traffic is more spread out, thus far saving the conditions of the mountian going south so quick....

Yeah I defently agree with you there. I was looking at the forcast on weather.com and its not looking to promising. But with any luck they will be able to blow at night. Mabey even with this new owner he may take a couple of chances and use the real power of Camelback's snowmaking system, after all hasn't he already ?? Lets just hope that luke doesn't use any more complacated vocab words

Yeah but what im wondering is how warm it will actually get. When ever they say its gonna get into the 50's it usually only gets into the 40's at camelback.

I wish they would annouce an opening date already !!

Still blowing at 1:28 and they have updated the daily pics. Right now I think they are gonna open up by the middle of next week.

CB i think has never opened in november although they have opened on like december 6th I think... that may be the earlest they have ever opened... idk though

I have not been told an opening date as of now. But i have been hearing rumors from a few people about opening up on the 10 or the 16th...

Im going to be a ski instructer and I have to go up on the 3rd of december for training then I also have to go up on the 17th so Im thinking sometime shortly after that.. well with them making snow this early I dont really know

I didnt think that they were going to get rain, just warm temps for a day....

Dude if only I wasn't stuck here in school I would drive up there and park,throwdown the tailgate and watch the snow being made. I should really get back to my work,lol lol

As of 8:01 they are still blowing snow on the base area. I think that they are going to continue to blow until like 12:00, take a break while the temp is above freezing and then start back up again at about 3:00

So I have been watching the cam and they have just started up a couple of more guns... omg I think I have a hard on from watching this lol lol j/k

I totally agree with you..... but if you look to the left of the cam it looks like something is being blown over there

I have been watching the cam like a hawk and havnt seen any lights..... If you look at the etened forcast there is a pretty big warm up in couple of weeks.. I wonder what havoc this is gonna play on CB's snowmaking abilities.....
