  1. While I go to Killington much more than I like to, for a first timer (to K-Mart) it will definitely have all the terrain your looking for. They also have pretty affordable rates for ski and stay packages which is usually the reason I go there.

Any tips on where to find a decent rate for Killington? I've found there prices to be on the higher end.

  2. I'm trying to do a ski trip next week (3/31 - 4/3) and am considering Mount Snow. What are peoples thoughts on the mountain for a beginner/Novice and an advanced intermediate? Also thoughts on what conditions we should expect up there. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I need to book something soon if i'm going to be able to get up there.

  3. I'm still up at the mountain so I'll put some more details up later along with some helmet cam. Was awesome meeting up with everybody and guiding me down my first black runs (main street) of my short skiing career. Somebody could of warned me about the chute though. Holy shit didn't see that coming. Will post more later and should be at blue next weekend bear creek tomorrow (free pass to use) and wrap up some more runs today.

  4. Blue has a deep base...Saturday will be good...and they should have no problem makig their projected March 20th closing. Vinny what time are you getting to Blue? Describe yourself so we can spot u. I'll guide you down one of Blues famous black diamonds.

I am not a fan of Jaeger...I drink my sugar free redbull straight. I'm overweight so need to cut calories where I can. The associated muchies are a bitch.

Since its just me this weekend I will probably be there a little before 8. As for what I look like I attached a pic below. I will more than likely have the same get up on Marmot Red/Gray Jacket and Black Spyder ski pants.

  5. Looking like rain on Sunday this weekend. I am still a beginner skier but I imagine if it rains then I shouldn't even bother trying to hit Blue. What is everyone else's impressions of sking in the rain. Is it doable or a waste of time?

  6. I'm considering getting a season pass next year and JFBB offers a pass that is good through the rest of this season plus some other nice perks. What is everyones thoughts on this season pass and other mountains in the area. Anyone have any different suggestions to get the best value for my dollar.
