Magic is definitely high on my list of places to hit but you have to hit it in/after a storm from what i'm told which makes it hard to plan. Get it enjoy it.

Sucks man I lost my season last year for an injury and I know it blows.

Conditions were really good. I thought it was going to be crazy cold but it was nice. All I found was that I was really out of shape so run count was a lot less than usual. Damn kid lol.... Anyways we hit the slopes did a couple runs, had lunch then I did a couple runs a break, etc. till we left around 8 something. Good times but I am not anywhere near where I need to be ski wise.

Unfortunately driving up with friends so don't have a choice on arrival time lol. Agreed though i'm usually open bell wherever I go.

Anyone heading up this weekend? Heading up but probably won't make open.

Hoping for a power outage tomorrow so I can't work and head up to the poc's.

I'm not sure to take this as an insult or actual surprise?

Been reading "a.k.a. lurking" just haven't had anything to say as of late. Kid is curtailing my skiing so far but should get out starting this month.

Have to catch that place when slidebrook is open. Easily some of the most fun i've had on a tree run and a free ride back to the lodge

Ya that road up to hunter is definitely a clencher. I was there last year after about 5 inches came down through the day. Took a while to get to our hotel in Kingston.

Wind probably refilled the stashes over night and its midweek so hopefully its not 100% tracked out but who knows. Just hoping for them.

I've found my trips to NY/VT to be very inexpensive. Just like everything else its how you put it all together I suppose.

Looks crunchy but nice they didnt groom it all.

I enjoyed Bolton when I was there, devils fiddle is a tough tree run with some tight lines down a pitch. Cobrass woods is a lot of fun with a tight exit. Defintely hit it after a storm because the place has a lot of character and a good vibe.

Is that part of the events now. Dodge the bullet on downhill. Or during the biathlon they have to hit the moving targets.
