  3. The temps at night are goin to drop like 5-10 degrees from saturday and sunday night. But the big thing is the humidity is going down. Its much more difficult to blow with high humidity and because of all those storms passing through, humidity was up aroun 80%, its going to come down to like 40% tonight, and then down to 30% and lower as the week goes on.
  4. Just a quick question about that C. If you are going to make a C with no bank, why make it a box?? It just seems like so much extra, and if your sliding that thing flat enough actually be on the box section, you are going off of it. And a similar question for the S. It has such nice curves on C sections and then randomly goes to an Abrupt, and not at all transitioned flat section. I see how it is kinda a combo between a double kink and an S, but... just seems a little unneccessary to me. Other wise though, the wall ride looks pimp and that swingset you guys have goin should be fun strictly because of how Monstrous it is.
  5. Im not sure what weather reports you naysayers are looking at, but every single one I have looked up shows lows in the low 20's every night this week. On top of that, they are calling for the air to dry out, with humidity only being around 30% or so. Those are ideal conditions especially since highs are only going to be up around the low 40's all week. If Bear doesn't buckle and blow, if for nothing else just to get a few inches down to help freeze the ground, they are complete idiots. They are looking at periods of 6-10hrs or more of viable conditions every night this week, and they need to lay down a base and get that ground frozen asap if they expect to have any kind of early season. They should be open this weekend, I said it before, if they can't blow enough to get somethin open this week, they should basically just forget the season all together because they can't be committed to providing good conditions... An array of weather reports to ease your concerns... http://weather.weatherbug.com/PA/Macungie-...tml?zcode=z5593 http://abclocal.go.com/wpvi/index?section=...mp;cityId=18062 http://weather.kyw.com/cgi-bin/findweather...=macungie%2C+pa http://www.weather.com/weather/tenday/USPA...pnav_undeclared If they don't blow... well, lets just say they blow...
  6. A dollar ey? You live dangerously man.
  7. This coming saturday sounds like the most likely opening day for everbody. The weather is there. They have nearly a whole week to get enough laid down to open a few runs. If they can't do that, they may as well just not open...
  8. http://skicamelback.com/?nav=press_Snowmak...resumes%2006-07 And according to this, Camelback has already started making snow. http://www.skibluemt.com/PhotoGallery and Blue too http://www.jfbb.com/image.asp and JFBB http://www.mountaincreek.com/mountain_info...120206_comp.htm annnnnd Creek....
  9. If that chart is accurate, Bear, if they are committed to getting open, should be able to crank up the snow guns sometime tomorrow after sunset. And conditions should be ideal every night this week as well. Translation = they should be open by next weekend if they want to be. And if they arent, one of the other mountains will be. So thats not all too bad of an opening considering how unseasonably warm its been. Thats especially true when you Consider the fact that New England is just really gettin goin this week as well. Im in Vermont, and everything except for Jay and Killington is closed until tomorrow or Tuesday at the earliest. I work up at Stowe, and they have only even been open since Black Friday (with only one poorly covered trail) Its hasnt been a promising early season, but I think things are looking up. All I know is that I hope bear is opened up within the next 10 days for when I get home because the park improvements look dope.
