its awesome to see people skiing in may..but i feel really sad that 1. i couldnt be there (but my show ended up being almost sold out both nights and it went really well so i guess it was worth missing it, esp. since i couldnt compete anyway..) and 2. it reminded me that i havent skied since february and i wont again until thanksgiving. how many girls were in it? oh and did i read somewhere that jf/bb's hoping to open in thanksgiving or did i just dream that?

where would you go to ride since traxx is gone? oohh wait would you go to paragon? ive always wanted to check that out...i ride at rausch creek, which has massive tracks and not much trail riding and ive never really tried trail riding before...

funny you said that.....the one time i didnt wear a chest protector when i was dirt biking last year i crashed on a double..i came up short and flipped over and the rear end of the bike landed on my back, footpeg into my stomach... that was last may and i still have a huge lump on the side of my stomach from the footpeg, and a tire mark all over the back of my jersey. oh yeah...and please wear a helmet!! pleeasee

nooo please wear a helmet pretty please with sugar on top?! why wouldnt you?! i dont understand oh and yeah ive got a ton of footy of jared too and he is anything but sloppy.... but anyways...please im begging you wear a helmet normally i wouldnt really care who wears a helmet but these car crashes are really getting to me...if they would have been wearing seatbelts they would have lived...its the little things that make a huge difference this goes for everyone else competing too. please wear a helmet..for your own sake..

noooo dont take that chance..please change your mind!!! suck it up and wear a helmet ...pretty please??!! its like wearing a seat belt..and we've had 3 kids die and 3 others seriously injured in the past three months because they werent wearing their seatbelts..and in those two crashes (one happened on friday...the kid that died...the other kid is in the hospital with serious head trauma..just came out of a coma today...both my neighbors) only the drivers were wearing their seatbelts and could walk away from it with no injury...same concept as helmets.. such a simple thing to do, and soo effective.. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE WEAR A HELMET (AND SEATBELT) and nick....haha umm i beg to differ on the jared thing...heh oh and jared=jar3d fyi

oookay so i did the race in september and the trails were built like a week beforehand and it rained like all week and it was horrible conditions..but the trails now should be sweet. they've had a few months to settle in and recovered from the race and dried up probably. i have clearance from my doc to ride in late june...arg.. but i definitely plan on hitting htat during the summer..i wanna do that race again and not make a fool out of myself haha its pretty difficult (or it was when i went...) i think its gotten a lot better though and theyve got some nice tech stuff: rock gardens, logs, really really hard switchbacks, long climbs, nice twisty singletrack..its not bad. depending on where you live and what you like to ride, french creek state park is really awesome for singletrack and tech downhills...but thats only if you ride xc...

when in doubt....you could always borrow someone's helmet..or if your helmet came with extra padding or something just put that in there..you can always take it out again

since its a high(er) profile comp than the ones they had at the end, im guessing yeah.. but its a no brainer for me (no pun intended..heh)...wear a helmet.. buckle up!

couldnt agree more...i'm pretty sure people are gonna be throwing more than a switch 2 in a comp off season....or do you think people will have trouble since they havent been on skis for 2 months? but yeah i agree...hteres gonna be a lotta people and a lotta talent so theres no telling whos gonna be there or win. plus people from all over eastern pa/jersey are gonna be there and theres obvioulsy amazing kids that not everyone's seen before so who knows

a switch 270 might not win it but jared's pretty sick...actually really sick

wow........man i wish i could ski soooo bad.......will this be an annual thing if it goes well (and i bet it will...)because that would be sweet. man....this rots but thats awesome news for everyone thats going

haha i've had bad experiences with line... i like the shape/fatness of k2 nancy, but 4frnts are looking pretty good too....i tend to be brand loyal so i'm probly gonna stick with k2 for a while... but i still love my 04/05 fujatives...they're perfect hah

at one of the last rail jams i saw a few skiers hitting the kink rail and only one made it all the way down- it throws you out after the flat no boarders hit it that time though...but there were only like 15 people in it...

yeah i took this at the rail jam they had when it was raining....it was fun though adn you can go straight down the stairs, but be really careful because a little boarder kid tried to do it and his board turned sideways and he ate it and it was pretty bad.... but i've only done teh middle option..its a really wide rail and its really fun

speaking of lost cell phones.. so my dad works for lockheed martin and hes got a lot of important stuff on his phone, including his schedule for the week b/c hes got a lot of meetings and stuff so he really depends on his phone and he just got a blackberry to make things easier for himself.... .....and today, he went out to get tubes and stuff at the bike shop in the jeep, and he left his blackberry sitting on the back of it.....apparently it stayed on till he got to the highway...and then............it kinda fell off...and he didnt realize it until he got to the bike shop that he had left it sitting on the jeep

noon 10 bucks to enter i've got a concert in downingtown that ive got to play in that night...i've got to be there at 4, the show starts at 8....gahhh we (all of us who cant come) should all email them and ask them to move it to the next weekend or something ^but hah like they'd listen really, no one has to read my rant, but feel free...: see, it might work out if i didnt have a show the night before too....we could've stayed at our house up there friday night, my parents could have dropped me off at the rail jam and they could have lunch or something in jim thorpe, then we could come home and they could drop me off in downingtown at the school of rock at 4. wouldve been an awesome plan. but nooooo i have to have a friggen show friday night too.
