  1. The quality of these are really unique. Definitely a rock solid ski with nice attention to detail. You can really tell that they're handmade though. It's got an interesting feel to them, they don't feel or look like skis off a production line, especially with the edges. I'm fucking digging it though, not a bad thing by all means.

sounds like 4frnt all over again. look/feel pretty cool at first glance and then they snap after skiing em for a bit. Hopefully these are different and rip many a day! and if they don't, i hope their customer service is better than 4frnt's haha.

  2. I didnt really like the first one that much. It felt like it popped me up weird.

if you're talking about the one in tubing around midseason last year, i agree. The pop was real weird, the landing was kinda flat, and the jump was real small. I actually liked the last jump in tubing around that time. provided you hit sweet spot it was pretty decent, at least in size.

  3. Sorry if all the normal, flat, down, up and kinked rails get boring after a while for me. It's good to have a few rails with curves in it here and there.

I'd have to agree with that for the most part. There were times last year where it seemed like freedom had 1093 flat boxes or rails in it. Boulder needs a well built, well set-up flat down rail along with some more creative stuff aside from their well done standard rails and boxes. I have faith, i'm sure boulder will continue to improve as they've done the past two years.

  4. do you get royalties for always having your mouth firmly attached to peak resorts' balls?

hey man, as much as i get annoyed w/ papa's boulder praising...the dude's right. Boulder had the best jumps in the area this past year for sure, and the best park i skied all season was at mount snow this year and that includes park city and whistler. even though he talks it up, these resorts are killing it with the improvements they're making and they've got a younger group of guys with the mindset to keep on improving. They're taking these mountains that may not be as known for their terrain (although mt snow definitely has some fun trails outside the park) and turning peoples heads in their direction. I'm hoping to be at boulder more often next year and also making a few trips up to mt snow.

  5. A couple of curved rails - boxes.

box - gap - box combos

Big Poppy Jump 50'+ with a huge landing step over style.

    More comps.

hell yes. especially the last two...oh and boulder needs a good flat down.

High Speed quad for Boulder Park...

    that too.

  6. im rollin to mayday!!!

in my own whip that i pay for!

hahahaha. I'm thinkin about swingin by. Not sure if i'm gonna ski yet or not cuz i wana rest my knee before whistler, but i might throw the skis on for some rail action.

  7. haha its cool i know..i definately had a ton of fun up there..the features were pretty cool for sure! i had a great time! good job blue!

this is a great example of what this kind of event can do for a mountain. Here's a kid that's probably never skied blue, who came from about two hours to shred, had a good time and now had a pretty positive outlook on the mountain itself. I'm super stoked that blue put this thing together cuz it brought a lot of kids from other areas together and made a bunch realize that blue is a lot of fun and has a pretty decent park scene.

  8. KT come on now, he was a really good skier....

haha i'm just bustin your balls. glad you and hoch made it up for this thing man. good to shred w/ you for a little while. I'll try and throw some video together from yesterday sometime this week.
