(AKA, the 1/28/10 TR) Wow, I have to hand it to you guys.. if I didn't have a team race with team mates depending on my time, there's no way I would have went out. The wind in the parking lot alone would have made me turn around and drive home. It was so cold up top, that when I went down the hole and was sitting on Pheobe... I was squirming in pain as all the blood rushed back into my fingers and toes.. lol. Sno did have their guns going.. but I'm pretty sure that snow was landing in Elmhurst. fleaguy Posted January 29, 2010 Report Share Posted January 29, 2010 I was there...and it was brutal up top. Not many people ventured to the top of the mountain. Many hid from the wind on Northface. However...the snow conditions were great and by the end of the night, all the snow guns were blasting away.
