moe ghoul Posted January 24, 2011 Report Share Posted January 24, 2011 Real nice conditions for early runs, got up there by 8AM after they got 6-8" of fresh snow for some almost 1st trax. 3 trails were ungroomed and Tunk was almost boot deep in fresh in some parts. Trails started to get scraped off by lunch time, remained overcast until about 2PM when the sun popped out. Crowds seemed tame for Winterfest compared to other years. Brown bagged it, so no midlodge fire pit stoke this time. Met up with a bunch of peeps we ski with, including ski club members that came up on a bus trip for the day. No pix.
