bigdaddyk Posted February 16, 2006 Report Share Posted February 16, 2006 I was at Elk Wed Feb. 15th (1230-9pm). During the afternoon the snow was soft and sticky (48 degrees). I didn't get to wax before I went up and certain spots almost stopped you . By 4:30, it was cooling down and the snow started to get hard and packed and re-froze.
