Blue has offered adult race clinics for skiers for years. In the past they offered them Tuesday and Thursday night. Now it is just Tuesday night and Wed morning. Thursday night was replaced by Nastar. I took the Thursday night clinic years ago. My brother takes the Wed. morning clinic and loves it.
He is moving to one of the best ski towns in the country. Plenty of great resorts are within driving distance and the town has plenty to do. Just be happy for him. He will be in powder while your bombing Razors all day and then writing a stupid report when you get home.
I have been to Park City plenty of times. The skiing at Snowbird and Alta are better but the town/ski area combination of Park City can't be better. It ranks up there with Tahoe, Whistler and Breck.
Make sure to hit Powder Mountain!
Sounds like Blue should just cancel the "Tuesday Nite Fever" until they can institute park passes, better lighting and learn how to make snow!! Come on guys, every year the facilities, conditions and events get better. Rome wasn't built in a day!
I guess my question is, how do you prevent the better "pros" or whatever from going a class down just to cherry pick the prizes? You have to have good prizes for the lower ability kids or there will be no interest down there.
I really don't know. Maybe because they have hotels, bars, shops, etc. that they want people in. The only area that I know of around here that allows bikes is BC. They have those amenities. It's not the biking they are making money on.
I got it the first time but that is still pathetic. People will not return if that continues. I'm all for new money in the ski industry. It will push the other mountains.
On another note, how many freeking water parks do we need?
Those folks are county employees! You can't expect them to get the condition report correct! And part of the sale conditions are that they retain the employees. I would re-think that! Too funny.
I said something I shouldn't have and I was benched for 2 days. It wasn't near as ridiculous as the last 2 days. Your right though, I could care less. It's the internet after all. This isn't real!
I'm keeping my guard up though because you never know when my sisters picture will show up on here or I might come down with testicular cancer!
