Winch Cat! What a joke. I'm pretty sure a winch cat isn't going to help. They can't figure out how to groom so they don't create frozen golf balls every time they make snow. Now the guy has to groom and winch at the same time. Good luck with that. Why is it that trails at Blue are the WORST after they make fresh snow? Seems like it should be the other way around!

He's a nut case. The second anyone said something against his ideology, he'd have a fit, and then leave. He crossed the line here and somone gave him a 1 day ban, and he thought the world was out to get him, and left. He did the same thing over at AZ.
I agree he is a nutcase but he was entertaining! I don't check in as often since Ski got booted. TTC6 was just an asshole.

the airbag is stupid and should only be used to catch the idiots who fall off the lift and make it stop. on second thought, let them get hurt and let the lift keep going.

You guys want anything else? You got tons of parks and a now a fucking airbag. I'm glad the pipe is dead because it never got used anyway. Don't be alarmed if you see only a few features in the old lower park. Otherwise you would have 3 out of 4 bottom trails with park stuff on them. Too much. People need to get to the lifts. Homestretch is already overcrowded. The airbag isn't going to help the traffic problems.

Blue started smashing the pipe. I took a ride up there on Saturday. Get rid of that fucking thing! Didn't mean to change the vibe but this really is an improvement.

nah, this is the instructional clinic. run a few drills, they set up gates in a slalom set and you run them until you drop getting critiques/pointers from the coaches - a major blast! monday nights are the beer league. i'm on the fence this year - that extra night on the hill 'bout cost me my marriag
i better seriously consider my options this year 
if it comes down to one or the other i'm gonna go with the tuesday thing, way more time on the snow...Get rid of your wife! That's an easier decision.

Sugarloaf is the closest thing to western mountains but I use the word "close" loosely. Best in the East for sure wthout hiking.

Technically he was always on the US team. He was just training on his own. All of his results still counted for the US .

Well, I care, but I think it's about time. For that matter, I think it's time for Bode to give up. Unless, of course, he actually accomplishes something this season.
Not sure if you knew, but Bode is back on the US Ski Team and competing in the Olympics.

So I'd like to see Blue put in a tow lift that will service the halfpipe. I've been at mountains that do that, and its so sweet. You can just session the pipe for hours, and get in dozens of runs on it. As it is, you have the halfpipe just sit there empty 99% of the time because its such a pain to hit it without hiking. If they want to get better use out of that prime piece of real estate, they need a lift there. It'll take 30-50 people out of sidewinder at any given time, too. Honestly, all they have to do is move the old snowboard school tow rope over to the halfpipe. It would be too simple, and it would make such a huge difference.
Great idea except the pipe doesn't get used because it sucks! They should just get rid of the pipe and make that Lower Sidewinder Park and open the existing lower park to regular traffic. This would also help the cluster fuck on Home Stretch and help the cross traffic problem coming from Main Street.

We hope that your summer has been going well so far. If you are lime me you have been thinking about skiing or snowboarding since closing day at the mountain. Well, it is time again for another Park 1260 rail jam. On Sunday July 19th we are having our "Beat the Heat Jam". Come out and have some fun, get wet, and slide some features. As always we will be serving hot dogs and bugers, with ice cold soft drinks. The park opens at 6pm and the jam goes until 9pm. Blue is the best at crappy snow. No other area can compete with their shitty snow. I guess it's good to be good at something!
