Just booked my flight to SLC March 7-13th. Probably going to do Pow Mow, Snowbasin, Solitude, Snowbird, and probably hit Brighton the morning I get in and possibly again for a night session.
I haven't personally been to Canyons so I can't really speak from experience (wouldn't mind hearing others opinion on that resort), but from everything I have heard from friends in SLC, it isn't really worth going there in place of any of LCC/BCCC resorts. It is lower elevation, and I am told gets less snow than BCC/LCC areas once again not speaking from experience just relaying what I have been told...
Dont go to Pow Mow, its flat and not really all that fun.

I rode that lift one time, it is quite the scary ride. Not sure I'd want to ride it again. Going around the bull wheel it tosses you quite a bit.

Amazing stuff!!! Glad you got out there to get it. I was in the LV for a wedding and should have brought my stuff to get in some turns, but when I left, there was only 4-6 inches advertised and I didn't think it would be enough. Bad call as Bethlehem got close to 10-11 inches before it stopped...

The most interaction I've had with patrol was last summer mountain biking during one of the races. Guy flatted, pushed through a turn and took a tree to the leg and I think dislocated his knee. He was totally calm until the d-league showed up and tried to position him for the backboard by pulling on his leg. Oops.
Witnessed this and it seemed painful, I also think that was the dudes first year. He also seemed a little slow, no pun intended.

Saturday at Noon is also a fine time for speed on Paradise.
If you are a good skier you are correct, therefore you should never ski fast.

Yeah, I'm trying to keep things positive, but from a presentation standpoint, the handout sucks.
Typically, you put your "headline" improvement 1st, and then rank them in order of significance. I guess this is a good example why they are looking for a social media coordinator (paper...it's gonna make a comeback).
Anyway,
About Razorback: I'm thinking they've made this a bit wider.
Root is about spot on with the new trail, you can see at the bottom of his ellipse there is a mountain bike trail running across razors. There is a lift tower in there and the “new trail” loops in around the lift tower. If you blink you may just miss the whole trail. Looks like more of a start ramp for the race team than anything.

One would think so, and even if it was an old lift I would hope there was some kind of stops on the pulleys.
