just got back and the park was sick! the set of jumps on black bear were very nice...and the jump line was very nice...idk what all of the changes were but the park was awesome..They also had one tiny box and some rollers although the box sucked because there wasnt a jump to it. overall it wasnt very crowded and the park was awesome

yeh I just started to do rails at BC too...dont worry if you might fall or catch an edge, i do it all the time. It just takes time. I would start off with that box on the upper part of cascade. That is where is started to work on sliding rails this year

I know that BC-Ironworks said that they are going to change it tonight, by the way he talked about the "changes" it sounds like it is going to be sick..I think they also might cut the half-pipe tonight

is it really! i hope so although weather.com disagrees as of now although accuweather is saying 1-3" or more!

everything sounds sick! I am hoping to make it up this tuesday! cant wait for the halfpipe getting cut this week...i hope that you are going to open the family terrain park this week to alieviate some of the lines on the main quad..

The website says that the tubing is going to be open tomorrow...does that mean they are eliminating the jump line? also I was looking at Cascade and the box and street style rail arent there anymore...where did they go?

looks like they are blowing a lot of snow in the pipe..i am hoping they will be able to open it up by this weekend so that the crowds wont be as bad..

I completely agree, even for someone like me who is fairly new into the park, I can only hit a few of the things in Cascade right now, so if they sectioned off different areas on cascade and lower Black Bear with different skill level rails, it would eliminate the idiots who sit in the landings. I think once they get the parks set up it will be much better so I think things will get better with time..

I am going to head up to buckmans just to watch, not quite ready to compete yet, looks like it is going to be sick though!

Yeh even if they only had like a couple small hits, it would be sick to hit in the summer, and it would bring in money year round!

what about it? I did notice that it was really low when I went to bear yesterday...if so, how long till they will blow snow again?

besides, it is already 24 degrees at bear but still they arent blowing for some reason anywhere on the mountain.

Yeh the top box is by far the best hit right now in the park although its true, something needs to be done to teach more kids not to be assholes and sit near the landing, cut you off, and other dumb stuff that I see a lot of kids do...Also one time I was skiing down past the table, and all of a sudden about 20 snowboarders sat down, waiting for the jump...They clogged up the whole trail and at that point I couldnt stop, some I clipped some kids board on the way out and he gave me shit like it was my fault he was in the middle of the trail...I apologized for hitting his board but I still think that he doesnt understand how dumb he is..

Just by looking at the webcams, the jump line looks pretty good with some small jumps and they setup the wallride...halfpipe has a lot of snow in it so I am hoping that they will be opening the halfpipe by this weekend. I am heading up tomorrow after school, anybody else heading up?

from what people told me from last year, they have really small jumps...a few boxes really low to the ground..and maybe some other small rails.

When do you expect the pipe to be open? other than that, sounds great for next year too!
