I was there from open till one and I thought in the beginning, the lips for the rails were good although as the day went on, they got smaller and I ate shit like five times on the box in the begining cause I couldnt get enough pop off the lip. I had a better day on friday, although it was nice to see that they were setting up the jump line the whole day and they where blowing on cascade.

ooo that sucks, I hope they will be able to open more trails on the quad for tomorrow that way the lines wont be as long at the main quad. Do you know what trails they were blowing on righthandedlefty?

I know, its just that if they want more people to be able to use it, they should make it so that you dont have to ollie about 1-2 feet.

wow! that is awesome to hear, I think that a snowflex facility would be an amazing source of revenue for bear creek because as of now, only one is being built in the us, in texas, so I am very interested to hear more about Bear Creeks plans with this..keep keeping us posted Mark!!!

I had a half-day today, so when I got there the conditions were still pretty good, it wasnt that crowded and they had a nice setup on cascade, with one really nice box...although they worked on the staircase the whole day but the jump leading up to it sucked anyway..

do you have a jeep? last time i went some guy was blasting some nice music from his jeep..

why dont they have those big guns blowing right now. They have some of the towers on, but the ones on the ground arent blowing...maybe they are blowing on the other side of the mountain?

with these low temperatures, bear is getting in atleast 50 hours of solid snowmaking in leading up to friday...think they will have any other trails open then the ones they had on friday? im just siked to head up again this friday!

finally back to the topic of this forum, Bear is probably going to be open on thursday or friday and I am going up on friday (skipping school yeh i know im a badass) and its going to be sick. So even though everyone is dissapointed about bear's "management", El nino is a bitch but atleast they will be fully open before the end of january!

My friend has the Giro Encore helmet and it is very cool. The sound quality is good and the helmet is very comfortable. I tried it on and it works great. I strongly suggest that you get the Giro.

Yeh, looking at the temperatures for this week: They can start tuesday night and blow straight through wednesday night. Stopping thursday late morning then continuing thursday night and through the 30th temps are looking good for snowmaking every night! Given this weeks weather, i think that they will open up Friday at 4. Also I believe that given these temperatures, a full mountain opening by January 30th.

sounds like fun..lets just hope they can get the rest of the mountain open by the end on january...!

I say they open back up on friday, they will be able to blow snow pretty much all day tuesday and wednesday and thursday night so I think they should get some kick ass snow coverage before they open again. I am feeling a friday re-open....also I am curious to find out what type of features they are going to have in that new Grizzly Family Terrain Park.Any ideas?

Yeh any refund would be great..I havent even been up to bear yet and it isnt even going to open by mid january..It would be much better if we could get some kind of word on a refund before the season is over that way i could spend that money at other mountains
