Bear is getting some great coverage with the low temps and low humidity! Thursday or Friday is looking even better for opening! I am so excited i cant help just watching the webcams and watching that beautiful pa powder float down

I am heading up tomorrow since I have a half day...anybody else going to be there? Also, are you allowed to ski on the other trails that they have blown snow on if you hike it?...i think it would be nice to ski a couple runs away from everyone else I am going to be wearing a red jacket, greet helmet, and my brand new Simon Dumonts

HOLY SHIT!!!! That is some serious coverage...any ideas on how much they got? but looking at the temps, they cant make snow until atleast friday...a preseason rail jam would be nice...hell, with that much snow lying around, why not just push it all onto one slope, throw a couple rails down, and get some good days in before thanksgiving.

I just hit up Buckman's tent sale today and was checking out some of their pre-season sales. After talking to one of their sales reps I decided to go with The Dumonts. I ski about 50% park and 50% mountain. Will these skis work out with me given what type of skiing i do?

definitely, besides for some of us, Bear is the best thing around...good enough for my needs. If you dont like it FirstGradeTeacher then dont tell all of the people on here about how much it sucks cause most of us like it.

Personally, this really pisses me off...After all that talk about giving money back to season pass holders, they come out with 65 day season! that is pathetic...When Bear Creek has less than a 65 day season will be the day i stop skiing because that will never happen. I really had my hopes up about getting some money back from opening in JANUARY! but not even, 65 days?!
